We are small family owned RV Park with lots of room to spread out and relax. We have bath house and laundry, small playground, and tent area. We are welcoming guests 24/7 as we also live here on property. We are located in lovely Silverton, Texas, about an hour away from Amarillo and Lubbock. Caprock Canyon State Park and Trailway has amazing scenery, only about 20 minutes away and Lake Mackenzie is a quick 12 minutes from the park. All sites are pull-thru with full hook ups, electricity is included in the monthly rate. We have Wi-Fi, a bathhouse, a full-service laundry facility, plus good ole fashion hospitality. We live on site and are available to assist in any way we can.

The Golden Spread
Fantastic place! Stayed in one of the cabins. Clean, quiet, and great internet. Able to work with no issues. Super friendly crew and the food truck was amazing. You have to try the banana pudding for dessert...

This is a very well kept rv park with cabins, a very nice laundry cabin, a clean shower and even a food truck with a pretty extensive menu. The tent camping area is a wide open area and worked well for my self contained set up. I would highly recommend as a stopover for Colorado-Texas Texas-Colorado travel. It was worth the short detour from the main routes.

We were only here for a short overnight stay, but our host was very accommodating. She allowed us to park in what was not a usual space for campers, so that we could have access to the playground table to reorganize the cargo in our truck. Short stay, but the location was quiet and we were impressed by the neat and clean bathrooms and laundry area. We would come again.

The Golden Spread
The host was very cheerful and helpful. I loved the fact we could have our pups there with us. The first night we stepped out and were amazed by the stars. We could hear the coyotes howling in the distance. It was a 10min drive to the state park. Lake MacKenzie was beautiful.

David's campground was so peaceful and beautiful. It's near a road but that has very little traffic so road noise is not an issue. We arrived to his place very late and he was kind and understanding about that. They have the cutest little His and Her bath house! It's very clean and the shower is the best. A huge bonus is that David and his sweet wife run a food truck right there on property called The Briscoe Bite. The prices are very reasonable and pretty much everything is made from scratch. Everything we had was delicious! I highly recommend this RV park if you are ever traveling to or through the area. We will definitely be back next time we go that way.

Quiet atmosphere. Perfect for traveling introverts. Toilet, shower, laundry. The internet is a little slow. Good place for monthly and parking. Need a little more attention on playground, sun umbrella needed! 🙂
