FULL hookup RV sites! Dark night sky and peaceful "country quiet". Safe, low traffic area. We have a large natural garden, and seasonally raise animals such as cows, chickens, and pigeons though sometimes only chickens and farm dogs. We built a new bath house with full bathroom, large shower, and laundry for guests to use during daylight hours*. (Make sure you read and follow the rules posted inside and on the door, they are strictly enforced). Strong cell phone/4G/5G signal with 3 towers next to the property.
WiFi is available in and near the little red building, but does not reach most camp sites. Guest login info is posted inside the little red building.
This is a great place to camp for a few days outside the city noise, but still close enough to explore Fort Worth, Azle, Weatherford, or just relax at your site. Lots of deer, birds and other wildlife to see here. Though small children enjoy meeting the animals on the tour, there isn't much for them to do here during the day so we don't recommend extended stays with youngsters or pets unless you plan outings during the day.
We built a “Campground” to share with like minded RVers, not a “Trailer Park”. Noise and clutter will not be tolerated. Being outside the city limits means sometimes hearing country noise so be prepared. Please respect the property and “leave no trace”. It is also CRITICAL you confirm that any toilet/tank treatments specifically say "Septic Safe" before hooking up to our system. This is a working farm so small children MUST stay with adults at all times and pet rules are strictly enforced!!! Please note that we allow inside pets, but they must be closely supervised on a leash and never tied up outside.
Please send me a message with some basic information before booking. We are not a regular campground and our sites are all a bit different so we need to know the size and type of RV, how many people and ages of any children. If you have pets with you then we need to know their size and breed. Most sites are setup for one RV and one tow vehicle, there is no lot or field for additional vehicles. You must arrive early enough to set up before dark. Pets MUST be supervised on a leash at all times! Please send me an ETA and we will try to greet you upon arrival.

We would be happy to give you a tour of the homestead after our work day is complete (during the growing season) but please don’t roam the property without an escort due to privacy and safety. Set in the peaceful countryside, this campsite offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, with friendly hosts Sarah and Sam who are noted for their welcoming and accommodating nature. Guests appreciate the tranquil setting adorned with wildflowers and the convenience of being close to Fort Worth while still enjoying a quiet retreat. While most reviews highlight the clean facilities and overall positive experiences, some guests noted the absence of shade and occasional noise from a nearby dog rescue. Overall, it's a well-regarded spot for those seeking a calm and friendly camping experience.
Extremely down the Earth folks and a nice getaway from the RV park bustle. The owners are helpful if a need arises during your stay. Ohhhhh…..and beautiful wild flowers this spring around the area….!
Very peaceful and tranquil.. loads of meadow flowers. Off the beaten path but worth the effort. Easy in and out access. Bath house very clean and stocked. managers don't bother your privacy. Highly recommended and will stay again.
Loved this little spot. Very scenic, loved all the wild flowers. Very calm and quiet. The host was very friendly. Came by to say hi and was very accommodating. Great place, especially for the price. Would love to stay again!
This is a great location for a safe place to stay! It is very conveniently located near the centre of Fort Worth with some really great scenery along the way. We met Sam - he’s a great guy, very friendly and very accommodating.
We only stayed the one night in our month long trip across America, but loved it. If only we had sites like this back home in Australia!
Do yourself a favour and pick this great little hidden gem.
Hosts were very responsive. Amenities were nice. Washer & dryer on site were not working unfortunately. Sites are in the open under the hot sun without shade just an FYI.
We loved staying at Friends in RV Spaces. It was in the country, on a beautiful piece of property. The hosts, Sarah and Sam, were very friendly. They made sure we had all the needed information about staying on their property, and asked us if we had any questions about the area. We will definitely stay there again if we come to the Fort Worth area.
Very understanding owners! My husband didn’t listen well when I read out the instructions once we got there and we ended up making deep ruts in their front yard! It was quiet, good water pressure and communication was excellent.
This was a wonderful find!!! Sam and Sarah were able to get us in for our last minute trip. We arrived on Christmas Day and they took the time out their day to greet us and bring us homemade peanut brittle. The location is a quick drive to Fort Worth but was far enough out of town that we didn’t have to deal with Texas traffic with our camper. We can’t wait to come back!!
This is an amazing little homestead in Azle, Texas! Sam and Sarah are great hosts and won't hesitate to come out and meet you when you arrive. This location definitely is recommended!
We stayed 4 nights at Friends in RV Spaces and it was great. We had plenty of room for our 31ft travel trailer with space left over for our dog fence. It is close enough to the city to be convenient as we were there visiting friends, but far enough away that its nice and quiet in the evenings. We were greeted when we got there and they were very kind. There is a bit of noise from the neighbors as we were told they run a dog rescue. We could hear the dogs when we were outside but it was certainly not loud enough to keep us up at night. We have 3 dogs ourselves that travel with us so we are not to terribly sensitive to the barking. We had a great stay and would stay again if we were coming back through the area.
It was a lovely stay on Sarah and Sam’s land. We only stayed one night due to our travel plans but it was easy to find and Sarah came out to greet us and deliver her chickens eggs to us. The laundry and shower facility was an added bonus for us. If we come through this area again we would definitely stay!
My family and I very much enjoyed staying on Sam and Sarah’s land. They were very receptive and responsive to anything we needed to communicate and it wasn’t difficult to recognize their proclivity to help and be of service to fellow travelers. They are genuinely good people and we felt safe and supported during our stay. We will definitely be back! Much love
Traveling for work and needed a place near the office. I. Poked same day and was greeted by Sarah upon arrival. The site was quiet and accommodating. Full hook ups with fresh eggs, fruits and other goodies available. Bonus was the laundry and full bath right next to my site! Loved the rooster crowing as a wake up call. Wish I could have stayed longer.
I loved staying at Sam and Sarah’s place! The little red barn was very helpful. It was a peaceful place that was nice and quiet. We hope to be back soon.
Sam and Sara were very friendly. They gave us clear directions on how to get there. Having the shower/ laundry cabin was nice. Very close to Azel where we were visiting friends.
Everything was wonderful. We now live in our RV full time and travel. Our kids live in the DFW area though and we have stayed here twice. Quiet and beautiful. Sam and Sarah are around if you need anything.
We will be back.
Sam & Sarah's place was nice. The water pressure, power & sewer were working perfectly and made our stay there pleasant. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The site was perfectly level and being out in the country was very peaceful. Our AT&T signal was strong and stable and the only downside was that Sam was having an issue with the provided WI-FI signal reaching our site (#4) with enough speed to be usable. So, if you are planning on working from here, bring your own hotspot or Starlink!!!
The site is nice, level (not always common), the hook-ups are well placed and ready to connect to. The neighbors are quiet, we'll space out and Sam & Sarah are very attentive, helping out anytime they were needed.
The wifi is slow but Sam is working on the speed and on extending it out further to better serve all camp sites.
I would highly recommend staying here with Sam & Sarah. It has been very peaceful and restful.
We have stayed here twice now and plan on returning when we are in the area. Very small peaceful and beautiful. Wildflowers everywhere! Well run too… full hookups, laundry area…. I also liked that there was a little spot in the laundry room to leave small items you don’t need or get items someone else didn’t need and has left. Sam and Sarah are very kind and helpful.
