Welcome to Lantzsch Farms! We are a working family farm that raises beef cattle and grows crops. We have a beautiful 188 acre property just 5 minutes from downtown Honesdale, PA. We are excited to share our slice of heaven with you- come enjoy the views, feed the koi, and let the chorus of frogs and crickets put you to sleep.Willow Grove at the Koi Pond is a peaceful, willow-shaded retreat tucked into one of the most beautiful corners of our working family farm. As you cross the wooden footbridge and step into the grove, you'll find yourself surrounded by spring-fed water, soft willow branches, and the quiet rhythm of pasture life. The upper pond offers peaceful moments with the koi fish (fish food provided!), while the lower pond offers catch and release fishing and a dock for easy access. Enjoy a camp fire next to the pond, and watch the stars come out. Your canvas tent is outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay: a queen bed with fresh bedding, LED camp lighting, potable water, and a trunk stocked with essentials- a camp stove with propane, a cast iron skillet, utensils, dinnerware, french press, and marshmellow roasting sticks! The site includes a picnic table, charcoal grill (BYO charcoal), and a privacy tent with a Boxio composting toilet. Take a solar-heated outdoor shower on our bluestone shower pad. Optional extras include additional cots, split firewood bundles, an additional pitch your own tent site, and fishing rod/boat access. Guests have access to approximately 18 acres of land, including a large pasture, the entire upper pond, and 1/3 of the lower pond. Guests may occasionally share the lower pond with our family and guests. Campers visiting during cooler weather may wish to bring a sleeping bag or addtional blankets for added warmth. The site uses a Boxio portable composting toilet. Instructions and toilet paper are provided at the site, and guests are asked to use the system properly to keep the area clean and sanitary.
