The bunkhouse cabin is private and quiet. Direct access to Brush Creek State Forest and the Coffee Hollow Bridal Trail, or venture out to the many nearby trails within the Arc of Appalachia. The iconic Serpent Mound is just a 15-minute drive away. Clear nights bring incredible stargazing, making this a perfect spot to truly unplug. **Good to know:** * No running water (drinking water provided) * Private, clean outhouse ~20 yards away * Electricity available * 4WD recommended for the hill (or park below and walk up) * Property is shared with a larger cabin (may be in use during your stay) * Hunters welcome (off-property only)Tucked atop a wooded hillside, this cozy studio bunkhouse is your peaceful forest escape. Unplug by the firepit, dine under the trees, and explore nearby trails with direct access to Brush Creek State Forest and the Coffee Hollow Bridal Trail. Designed for outdoor living, the bunkhouse sleeps up to four guests in a compact, comfortable space. On clear nights, the stars are truly magical. **Guest Access & Amenities** The bunkhouse is thoughtfully stocked for a simple, comfortable stay. Inside, you’ll find a queen bed and twin bunk beds, along with a small countertop—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee with a view of the woods. Amenities include: * Mini fridge & coffee maker * Coleman propane stove & George Foreman grill * Mini crockpot * Camping-style electric sink * Cookware, dishes, utensils, and essentials Electricity is available, but please note there is **no running water**. At least 5 gallons of potable water will be provided for drinking and light washing. A private outhouse is located a short walk away. For comfort in any season, enjoy a box fan and open windows on warm nights, or a small space heater and wood-burning stove when it’s cool (firewood provided). Outside, relax on the deck with games and puzzles, unwind by the covered porch, or enjoy cornhole. The firepit and grill grate are perfect for s’mores and outdoor cooking. Surrounded by peaceful woods, you’ll likely spot local wildlife—part of the charm of a true nature escape.

Firewood provided, firepit, wood burning fireplace. There is a wood burning stove in the bunkhouse for heat only. Please only use this if it’s cold and you are comfortable doing so.

Off leash, on leash. Dogs and pets welcome off leash when on my property. There is a dog tie-out-stake for use as well. Please clean up after your pet when you can. Public forest adjacent to property and dogs must be leashed there.

Trash bin. please take your trash with you when you leave.

Grill over firepit, private, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. we provide basic camping style cookware including a french press, plates and bowls, utensils (enough for 2-4) a small george forman, small gas cooktop,

There is a small play area at the neighboring cabin that is communal as well as the small zip line (80 lbs max).

Bring your own water. However, we provide 3-5 gallons of drinkable purified water and pump. Provides ability to wash hands and cook and drink.

Wifi is available outside down by a separate cabin onsite. You are welcome to sit on the porch to access the wifi to make a call or check email and messages. Cellular service is very spotty.
