Welcome to Mobius Bus! A 35-footer 1996 Thomas International converted school bus perfect for a mountain getaway. We are conveniently located near all the major hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, boating, and adventuring hot spots: Downtown Brevard: 5-minute drive Pisgah National Forest Main Entrance: 15-minute drive Pisgah National Forest Cathy's Creek entrance: 5-minute drive Du Pont State Recreation Forest: 20 minutes French Broad River access: 3-minute drive Gorges State Park: 30-minute drive Blue Ridge Parkway: 45-minute drive It's tiny, but it sure is cozy! We hope that you will find our skoolie complete with all the amenities you need to feel comfortable. Just because it's small doesn't mean it can't have everything you need! All the necessities, plus books, games, and TV for staying in. We also provide maps for traveling to unknown territory and a long list of recommendations ranging from the best eats in town to the best hiking trails around. Please be aware that people over 6ft tall may not be comfortable here. MUST BE COMFORTABLE USING AN UNCONVENTIONAL TOILET! The bus toilet is an incinerating toilet that burns waste. You will have to read the instructions on how to use it before you go! We will post instructions in our directions to the house, in the welcome book, in the bathroom, and on the toilet itself. It is a toilet in a bus so the space is pretty tight. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH DOGS! Our lovable dogs, Sasha and Tipper, will be around during your stay, and they might even say hi! We DO NOT allow you to bring your pets. A note about bugs.... Windows on the skoolie are not protected with mesh screens. If you wish to minimize your contact with insects and bugs, you may want to keep the windows up. The entrance to the camping area is separate from the rest of the property, you can come and go as you please, and unless we are outside in the yard, we often don't notice. There is a parking space and a gated entrance to the camping area at the back of the property. You will experience a lovely sunset at this site, and you can also enjoy our large backyard. A space with a picnic table and a firepit is provided near the bus to make it feel like your own private getaway.

Comfy School Bus, Highly recommend

Funky Glampin' School Bus

This schoolie was way more comfortable than i could have expected. There were 2 options of showers, we preferred the outside. There was an incinerator toilet that was easy to use and well explained. The bed is a dream and we slept so well. Mini kitchen with oven and stove top. There was a fire pit and picnic table to eat on. Close to many state parks and gorgeous hikes My favorite part was waking up to their sweet collie outside the door. I always miss my dog when traveling and he was a sweetheart. We will definitely be staying here again

There are better ways to live

Funky Glampin' School Bus

Hi, I spend a lot of weekends during the year at Airbnb's and am almost always happy. This place also made me very happy. It is exactly advertised except it is closer to downtown Brevard than I expect and it had two lovely dogs that provided brief visits that were very much welcomed. It's the perfect getaway for people who want to hike or bike in Pisgah or just visit local restaurants and shops. It is quiet, the decor is cool and what you want in a converted bus. Unfortunately my time got cut short because of business but if you want a clever, thought provoking environment to rethink your lifestyle, this is the place. I thank Rachel and Wes for the experience. It was a wonderful, I hope to stay the full time next time.
