Shady, private, and quiet, surrounded by nature. The micro cabin is super clean and dry, with a comfortable twin bed and a small covered porch. Guests have access to a restroom in the main house. A nearby creek and mountaintop hiking trails are accessible right on the property. We're located 10 to 12 miles from Hayesville, NC, and Blairsville, GA, and just 5 miles from the John C. Campbell Folk School and The Crown Restaurant. There is no electricity or running water in the cabin, so rechargeable lights are recommended. Specific parking instructions will be provided upon arrival. A profile picture is required before your stay. Accommodations are limited to one person and one dog, depending on the dog's temperament. Fiber optic internet is available, and Verizon service has a good signal, but you'll most likely want to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Highly rated restaurants, a brewery, and grocery stores are located about 12 miles away in Hayesville, NC.There is mountain top hiking on site, and a creek that borders the property, and lots and lots of trees, moss, ferns, songbirds, and deer.

Micro Cabin

Micro cabin

The location of Micro Cabin was very serene, quiet, and beautiful, and the cabin itself was clean and inviting. The short drive up the gravel road lead right to Melissa property with brilliant view of lush ferns and soft green moss. Melissa surely did an excellent job of painting and fitting the cabin with just the right decor - very minimal. The side porch had all one needed for the first morning coffee where I watched the first light of day, and listened to bird song. The whole experience felt rather magical to me. I highly recommend a visit here. To top it all off, Melissa was an excellent hostess having the cabin prepped with all the essentials. I will happily revisit Less is More.
