Silky Oak Campsite
Silky Oaks was a great site in a great property. Flat, clean well looked after sites with amenities close by if needed. Inviting river with free canoes and kayaks to explore or just splash about wherever you wish, we likes the rapids area!

Cascades Campsite
Beautiful spot. We booked the private cascades site. Big enough for 1 van set up. Short walk over river rocks to the river. Right by the river cascades. There were hot showers set up behind our spot but toilets were away further. We were self sufficient with our set up. Very steep and narrow for the road getting in. Would recommend 4wd if it was in the wet.

The Rapids Campsite
This truly is a fantastic place to camp! Me and my family spent hours every day swimming in the beautiful river. In the evening we enjoyed jaffles by the camp fire. The camp sites are large, private and well kept. The landscape makes me think of “Lord of the Rings”. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Cascades Campsite
We stayed at the cascade site. So peaceful and private with a short walk to the showers and drop toilet. The Kookaburras and a Goanna kept us company!! The view and sound of the rapids was very special. Great break away for a long weekend😊

Brilliant spot! What a gorgeous campsite, right by the river. It was a great 'switch off' from life - hiking, mountain biking and kayaking. Thank you so much to Steve and Sharon!

Riverside Bliss
If your looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy the unspoild wilderness, then this is definitely the spot for you.
Several great campsites along the river, with composting toilets and hot showers a short walk away; and even a camp kitchen near either end of the camping areas.
Didnt have any beginners luck with the gold pan, might need to work on the technique.
Highly recommended for those with an adventurous spirit looking for a great escape.

Site 10 - Riverside Campsite
Absolutely what we were looking for. Peace, solitude, beauty, no phones, people or technology just nature..
Exactly what we got..
Off grid with the luxury or composting loos and hot showers within a short walk. Each camp site is spaced. We chose a remote camp-site 1/2 acre to ourselves. We felt totally alone and at peace. Sharon the owner was a true blue Aussie with a big heart and easy to chat too.
Highly recommended ♡♡♡♡♡

It was beautiful. Rare to find a spot not too far away that places you within the depths of nature. Many an adventure to be had. I will return soon.
Sharon was amazing in making us feel at home and helping us with the canoes. The hot showers are a luxury as well as the beautiful full Clarence river!!

Camping on the River - Awesome
Fantastic, stayed in the She Oak grove site on the banls opf the river. Walking thru the tress, took about 3 mins walk (its a rocky kind of pathway) to the river rapids. No issues with the walk to the river and well worth it. Sat in the river rapids and watched the sun go down over the top of the mountain range with no one else around, awesome. No other sites anywhere near us or noise from others. We had a 2W drive car and arrived Ok, a 4W Drive would be better as we spend plenty of time on unpaved roads getting in and out. This place was what we were looking for and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great hosts, beautiful location, well equipped site, great hikes and 4WD tracks, wildlife about. River wasn't flowing due to the drought, but it's certainly well worth the stay regardless. Keen to return, highly recommend.

What a beautiful location... The drive in was breathtaking and my kids enjoyed it. This is a hidden paradise and would be well worth the trip. The kids dissolved themselves into the canoeing and kayaking in the river. We spent some great family time.. Plenty of wildlife and the host's were great.

Such a gorgeous place. Plenty of space to spread out. Sharon very friendly and informative and generously allows guests the use of kayaks. We were lucky enough to see platypus during one of our paddles. Recommend a shade gazebo as very hot in the middle of the day. Also take time on the driveway in.

We loved our Bush campsite by the river. We had 3 days of virtual solitude backed by incredible birdsong. The trip to Clarence Wilderness Lodge took us to New country, gorgeous country. It was totally worthwhile. Sharon and Steve welcomed us warmly. We loved it.
