Four thousand hectares of river crafted country has been preserved in a wildlife refuge that is noted for the diverse abundance of its native animals and the wild splendour of its scenery. Clarence River Wilderness Lodge offers families affordable camping within this pristine wilderness area. The Clarence River Wilderness Lodge operates based on environmentally sustainable principles. Kookaburra Campsite

We absolutely loved the camp ground. The property is well maintained and the track into the camp is so much fun. Views are amazing. Very relaxing weekend

The Rapids Campsite

Total Relaxation

It has been 9 years since my last stay at Clarence River Wilderness Lodge and this stay was just as special. I have to say I was a little concerned about taking my 22ft caravan down to the site but had no problems with my 4WD tow vehicle. The serenity of the remote sites is amazing and perfect for a reset from the crazy real world. The hosts Stephen and Sharon are beautiful people and welcome you to their amazing property. I can highly recommend this camp.

The Rapids Campsite

Another fantastic camping trip to Clarence River Wilderness Lodge! Tenth year of visiting, and in that time Stephen and Sharon haven’t aged a day - testament to the benefits. We did the hike over the ridge with our three boys, nature at its best. Looking forward to our next visit.

Was a great place to camp, nice private camp site smack on the river. Great hot shower and toilers close by. Will definitely be back.
