Binghi Station Located approximately 4.5hours from Brisbane, Queensland, or 1.5 hour drive west of Tenterfield, New South Wales. Binghi Station, once a large sheep station, was a thriving tin and gem mine from the late 1800 to mid 1900. Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty. Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s. You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in the pure magic beneath a million stars in the night sky. We strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry road has some slight hill climbs and bumps. Please ask for more details if necessary. The Gorge site is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers with 4WD access only. The Gorge not suited for Caravans due to access. Other locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. Binghi Station - an extraordinary place to make some truly wonderful memories. :-)

The Secret Gorge
Unreal! Epic!
Wow. This is hands down the most epic camping spot we have been to. The drive in through the sheep farms is magical, the secret gorge is the most beautiful place with beautiful sandy bottom swimming. Adrian and his wife are so lovely! Adrian really is such a top bloke. Near their house is an unreal waterfall, I can’t believe they share it with everyone. Thanks so much guys! Some logistics - long driveway, keep going you’re in the right place. Drop toilet really good. We had our own toilet. If it rains don’t camp too close to the creek it rises very fast! You should definitely take a 4wd.

Camping in true serenity
We loved camping at the secret gorge! You're in your own slice of paradise, a truely spectacular spot to sit and relax. Adrian was a great host, communication was spot on and no issues with directions in finding the property or campsite. We felt truely lucky being able to camp where we were and we can't wait to come back!! Definitely a 4WD adventure to get down to camp which is an added bonus :)

The Secret Gorge
Granite county at its best!
Booking was super easy. Adrian was a champ of a bloke. Friendly and accommodating. We arrived a bit late to a stunning location. Adrian realized we were behind the eight ball setting up and the provided us with some firewood and got a fire going. Before we knew it we had a fire , glass of red and Kidds in bed. Yes 4x4 is required! Off grid! We will be back to explore the working farm and have a brew with Adam.
