Need a hip place to stay in Taos that is walking and biking distance to many of the restaurants, museums, galleries, and music venues? Safe and private, with morning shade and a compost toilet. There is road noise at the site and it is dark at night. ● SORRY NO TRAILERS LOCATION/INFO: Site 1: 18ft or less (114 Camino Naturale - small RV or tent), Site 2: 23ft or less (113 Camino Naturale - medium RV or tent). USE GOOGLE MAPS ONLY DIRECTIONS: Enter from Paseo del Norte Sur (main road through Town) onto Camino Naturale, open/close chain gate with no trespassing sign, look for green campspot signs and park in designated spot. ● Level ground that is partially shaded ● Mountain views and beautiful skies ● Pack it in - pack it out. Leave no trace. ● Separating "Compost" toilet in outhouse near Site 1. ● No open fires - BBQ and/or cook stoves only ● Use no generators ● It's in Town so there is traffic noise. And it is dark at night. ● Host knowledgeable about local adventures/events. Come for a scenic airplane flight or be guided skiing the steeps at Taos Ski Valley. ● Walking distance to Cid’s grocery, Bighorn Weed, Taos Center for the Arts, Town Plaza, and many restaurants and museums.

No trailers sorry. ● Level ground that is partially shaded ● Mountain views and beautiful skies ● Enter from the main road, follow arrows on picture, and only park / pitch tent in designated spot ● Pack it in - pack it out. Leave no trace. ● Compost toilet in outhouse - Contact host for hidden key ● No open fires - cook stoves only ● Use no generators ● Some traffic noise ● Dogs must be attended at all times ● Host knowledgeable about local adventures/events. I fly scenic airplane tours - come fly with me!

Daniel was very nice and helpful and it was great to be able to walk to town to catch some music and dinner so I’d definitely recommend staying here. Site 2 worked for my van. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there was a cleared area so you’re not stepping out into overgrown woody grass.

It’s safe and very convenient. I went to a concert at Kit Carson, was able to easily walk to and from the concert and the crawl into my tent. Thanks, Daniel.

Daniel was great! Super responsive and very straightforward about the property. It was exactly what we needed for a night close to the heart of Taos! Compost toilet was clean and the space was beautiful. Super nice host and we will totally camp here next time we’re in Taos. Thanks Daniel!

It was great to be so close to Kit Carson Park and be able to walk to the shops and eateries close by! The land was beautiful with many trees and great for bird watching. There's also some prairie dogs on the land. It was very cute and just perfect for what we needed! Because it was Labor Day weekend when we visited, it was a little loud with the road under construction, so if you're a light sleeper, bring some ear pods :)

Great spot!! The proximity to Taos is great. If you are looking for isolation, this might not be your site. There is some road noise. But if you are looking for easy walking access to Galleries, Shops, Restaurants and Bars in Taos this site is great.

The site was very basic but exactly as described. It was an easy walking distance to the town square in Taos which is what I was looking for. Daniel was very helpful and communicative.

Great communication and great for a quick overnight stay for a concert at Kit Carson. It’s great depending on what you’re looking for/expecting. Super close to the plaza/Kit Carson which is amazing! It’s a small space (and there was a truck parked where it would have made it easier to back a trailer in). Received a message at 1am about the key to the outhouse. Am glad I brought my own “means.” Some traffic is an understatement. It was very, very loud. As a woman traveling alone, please note that it’s very dark walking back (along with construction occurring when I stayed). Bring a flashlight. No complaints, just want to make sure folks know what to except!

A fine site for a quick night close to downtown, a huge organic market just around the block, and a kind and happy host. If I'm out this way again I'll stay here.
