Tent camped with pets, May 2026.

    It was okay

The site was pretty unrecognizable from the photos due to storm damage, which I expressed to the host and he refunded my trip. Having electricity was perfect as my heated blanket kept me and my dog warm during the chilly nights. 3am trains are very loud in a tent, soni covered my dog's ears when they went by. Really beautiful spot otherwise with lots of birds to watch!

    • Facing the railroad tracks. Storm damaged tree pile on the right
    • Facing the road. Storm damaged trees .
    • Facing the road & electrical box. Turn breaker on when you arrive and off when you leave.
    • Facing the back of the lot (tarp corner in the ground from my set up of 4 person tent + 10'x10' walled canopy)

Brett’s land is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The site has big beautiful trees, and we were fortunate enough to be there in the autumn to watch the leaves fall. It is wonderfully quiet and dark at night, making this spot a stargazer’s paradise. Brett’s pride of ownership is apparent by all the work that has been done to the property. We will definitely go back.

Nice location just minutes away from cuyuna lakes. Owner was great at agreeing questions and working with us. We hauled a 28 foot camper trailer, so longer set ups can be done but should have background with hauling. We LOVED the off leash for our dogs. Must have for us any camping spot we go to.
