With tree coverage, a quiet setting, and modern bathhouses, the campground gives you the outdoor experience with all the convenience. Bring your ORV and ride the trails located just across the road, or simply kick back and enjoy a peaceful, quiet weekend by the fire. Nestled in a quiet corner of Sunrise Lake Family Campground, this charming retreat includes a picnic table, fire pit, and is stocked with basic camping essentials to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Guests have access to the beautiful 80-acre all-sports Sunrise Lake—perfect for paddling, fishing, or swimming. Just a short walk from modern bathhouses, Ben’s Bungalow gives you the outdoor experience with all the convenience. Bring your ORV and ride the trails located just across the road, or simply kick back and enjoy a peaceful, quiet weekend by the fire. Looking to make summer memories but don't have an RV or tent? Our primitive cabin (adjoining Sunrise Lake Family Campground) is nestled amidst the beauty of the lakeside setting with easy access to the fun and relaxation that awaits! The space This Amish style cabin offers comfortable space for 4 with a living room with a queen size futon, kitchen space with a table and chairs, a full bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen sized bed. Our camping cabin is on a lake view lot with lighting, water and fire ring with a cooking grate. The cabin is an exciting rustic camping experience, so please be prepared to bring many items you would need for camping: outdoor cookware, utensils, etc. We provide bed linens, towels, a coffee maker, an electric skillet, cups, plates, bowls and silverware for 4, a toaster, a microwave, some basic serving utensils and fridge for your use. Also for colder nights we have a wall propane heater unit. Guest access Our cabin is located on the beautiful Sunrise Lake adjoining the Sunrise Lake Family Campground with a beach on the property. We welcome our guests to enjoy the beach area, our paddle boats, and encourage you to check out the many local attractions in nearby towns of Leroy, Evart, Cadillac, and Marion. ATV enthusiasts - we are located across the road from 12,000 acres of state land with trails so bring your rig or rent one from Cadillac (Greater North Power Sports and Rentals). We are also located next to a DNR boat launch so bring your fishing gear as well! Other things to note Due to rural setting of the property, we cannot guarantee cell service to our visitors and there is currently no wifi available.
