Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Rustic camping sites and one 50-amp RV site. Enjoy a private 3-acre sand dune featuring a huge bonfire pit and an Adirondack-style picnic pavilion with electricity and a stereo. The Moose Shed is our largest pavilion and features an open kitchen with a sink (hot and cold running water), a small fridge/freezer, a microwave, an electric Blackstone griddle, and a pellet BBQ grill. There's also a pool table for guests to enjoy. The Moose Room is a one-room cabin with recliners, a TV, and a queen-size bed in the loft. If you get rained out and decide to "surrender," it's available to rent (subject to availability). Not ready to rent quite yet. The property is mostly hardwood forest with a mix of pines. Manicured, secluded walking trails wind throughout the property along Jackson Creek. A few scattered campsites are available, making this a great place for private groups to rent the entire property or for individuals looking for a peaceful getaway. Amenities include a flush toilet, an outdoor shower, a bathhouse, and a covered outdoor kitchen/pavilion for your use. A washing machine and clothesline are also available. Whether you're looking for quiet seclusion or want to enjoy everything the property has to offer, we've got you covered. We originally wanted to offer amenities à la carte, so you could choose as much or as little as you'd like. Since that's not an option on this platform, we're including everything. If you enjoy it, we'd love to hear your feedback! ❤️ This property is an eclectic blend of Up North style. We love it here because it's unique and unusual, and we're excited to share our little paradise with you. We're also conveniently located just 12 miles from Traverse City (TC).

Creekside A is our smaller of the two creekside sites. It is nestled down by the sandy bottom creek. Very peaceful and quiet. A favorite safe have for mama and baby deer in the spring!

Creekside B is the larger of the two creekside sites. An isolated area with a good flat camp area right next to the creek. Best group site. Can accommodate a few tents. Mama's and their fawns like the safe seclusion here in the spring!

Creekside C

Creekside tent site. Need 4wd. There is a small sandy hill to get down to the creek. Nothing extreme but a regular car wouldn't do well. Great spot. The Creek winds around and is on 2 sides.

The Overlook

The overlook is a supreme site with plenty of area for multiple tents if needed. The pavilion is on the side of the hill that overlooks Jackson Creek. Complete with picnic table. This is a beautiful site.

Little Pine

Little Pine is a nice site with nice sun and afternoon shade. Good level ground. Pretty trails in 3 directions! Very easy access and you can park right next to your tent or camper.

Creekside A
We had such an amazing stay at Angel Dunes! If you’re looking for a quiet, rustic getaway, this is the perfect spot. We stayed in Creekside A which is incredibly private and secluded, with the creek flowing right through it, which made it so peaceful and relaxing. It had more than enough room for our tent and felt like our own little slice of nature. The amenities were wonderful as well. The showers were clean, got nice and hot, and were surprisingly spacious. There was also a sink and a grill available, which made camping even more convenient. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful trail that loops through the property. We walked it in the morning and were lucky enough to spot several deer, making the experience even more special. Julie was an incredible host! She checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel so welcome. We absolutely loved our time here and already can’t wait to come back. It was the perfect cozy escape, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature.

Rustic camping with amenities!!! I can’t say enough good things about the property, the site and Julie!! If you are looking for off grid with excellent hosts this is the place! Highly recommend!!
