Centrally located in lower central KY between northern & southern states, with all sorts of outdoor fun in the area, and nearby city of London KY for meals, drinks, shopping, & more. Hand built charming cabin & furniture with conveniences of home in a serene forest setting. Full kitchen & bathroom, sleeps up to 7 in 4 beds, open floor plan. Located above Rockcastle River, nestled within Daniel Boone National Forest in lower central Kentucky. We also have 4 other cabins on our property listed here - Sapphire Springs, Ruby Ravine, Emerald Forest & Tangerine Dreams, which sleep up to 5 & also have full kitchen & bathroom. 3 comfy, clean Queen beds: 2 on main level (one with a hand-built log bed frame) plus a twin size sofa bed, and a 3rd queen bed in loft, open floor plan. Ideal location for all sorts of outdoor adventure, romantic weekend getaways, and a relaxing retreat in a beautiful forest setting. ENJOY THE CAMPGROUND’S BEAUTIFUL NATURE SETTING: - Our forest is home to an abundance of wildlife – On quiet early mornings keep an eye out for local wildlife dining by the river's edge or crossing over – keep your cameras handy! You may catch a glimpse of wild turkey flocks, deer, and the occasional raccoon and otters splashing and playing at the river banks! Bring comfy outdoor boots for exploring, and fold-up chairs to sit around the fire pit. We sell marshmallows and cords of firewood upon request when booking. - Hang out on your back porch overlooking the relaxing, rippling sounds of Rockcastle River and occasional kayakers paddling by 🐟 - Conveniently located just 4 miles off i75 (exit 49), we’re an easy drive down a tree-lined forested road in Kentucky’s first designated Trail Town! Plan your ideal relaxing retreat, or fuel your adrenaline with some of the best outdoor recreation to be found this side of the country! You'll find things to do for all energy levels :)

We offer guests 5 charming clean cabins to choose from in a serene forest setting, nestled within Daniel Boone National Forest in lower central Kentucky.   Each cabin is uniquely decorated with pretty decor and lighting, coffee bar, DISH TV, and has a full kitchen and bathroom, plus kitchen ware, linen and a set of towels for each guest is provided. Our Riverside Blue cabin has 3 queen beds (2 on main level + a twin size fold out sofa bed, and 1 in loft above) and sits right above Rockcastle River. Our 3 newest cabins each have 1 queen bed and a Full XL bed in loft above, and are each color themed - Sapphire Springs (blue + water themed), Ruby Ravine (red + rustic themed) & Tangerine Dreams (orange + Mid Century Modern themed). Ideal location for all sorts of outdoor adventure in the area, romantic weekend getaways, birthday and anniversary celebrations, family time, and a relaxing retreat in a beautiful forest setting.  ENJOY THE CAMPGROUND’S BEAUTIFUL NATURE SETTING: - Our forest is home to an abundance of wildlife – On quiet early mornings keep an eye out for local wildlife dining by the river's edge or crossing over – keep your cameras handy! The new Marathon Gas in Mt. Vernon also sells beer and cider type ales (take the 25, not the highway). Emerald Forest is our green + magical forest-themed cabin! We have 5 cute, clean, themed cabins listed here on the same property along Rockcastle River in Daniel Boone National Forest! All have full kitchens, full bathrooms & open floor plan. WiFi, dishes, pots & pans, games, nature booklets, 2 chairs, sofa, coffee table. Coal BBQ, wood-burning metal fire pit. After your booking is confirmed, we'll email you our helpful info sheet & website with lots of info about what's in the area. Happy Travels! The space We're on private property nestled within a national forest, conveniently located down an easy state road off Interstate-75. Rockcastle River runs along the entire lower part of our property down an embankment. There are river beaches along our road, + kayak rental & shuttle. We have lots of info to send you! Our Emerald Forest cabin is green + magical forest themed, with fun, pretty décor & boutique/rustic hand-built furnishings. Kayak rentals up the road, 3 miles from Wildcat Offroad Park, historic sites, spectacular waterfalls, lakes & hikes within a 30 min drive. Near London KY. The space Our Riverside Blue cabin is blue + forest themed with pretty decor and has an open floor plan. Sleeps 7 people: 3 comfy clean Queen beds - 2 on main floor + 1 Queen bed in loft, and a faux leather sofa which seats 2 - 3 adults and folds out to a twin bed. **When booking, please let us know how many guests and beds needed.** >Pet friendly: Our Riverside Blue cabin & our Ruby Ravine cabin (also listed here) allow dogs with guest confirming our dog policy and pet fee added here. Our other 3 cabins don't allow pets to accommodate guests with allergies/asthma. Enjoy a relaxing stay at our at our attractive, clean cabin, custom built inside & out, with hand built furniture and fun forest-themed decor, sitting right above Rockcastle River on our private property campground. Back porch overlooks the river and forest across the river. Front porch overlooks green pasture and trees. This is our only cabin right above the river and in this area of the property. Our 4 other cabins are across a green field and trees on higher land which you can walk to. On the other side of our property across a ravine/creek are our pasture pets who you're welcome to visit! - 4 cute mini donkeys, 2 mini cows Anabelle & Olivia, 2 goats and pretty chickens. >Nice furnishings throughout the cabin. See photos. >No Smoking allowed in cabin. >We don't charge a cleaning fee. We just ask for dishes cleaned upon departure, trash bagged up, and absolutely no littering, including no cigarette butts or bottle caps in fire pit.

Riverside Blue Cabin
We had such a relaxing stay in this cabin and were sad that we had only booked one night. We hope to go back at some point to stay again. One of my favorite things was the book about waterfalls in KY that guided us to venture out to Cumberland Falls, which was stunning.

Riverside Blue Cabin
Susan’s cabins are not only some of the most well curated and furnished get-aways, she is also an incredibly kind host. You enter the place like a new peaceful realm and you leave feeling like you found another home. The surrounding land is quite scenic, our pup had a lot of fun running free and we enjoyed the serene privacy of the Riverside Blue Cabin. Susan was available at any given moment we reached out to her and she was most accommodating with our dog. She and the space invite you to totally unplug and tap into what relaxes you.

Riverside Blue Cabin
We had such a comfortable stay in this adorable cabin! Conveniently located just off the highway, and easy to get to, this spot is perfect for a long weekend visit. With enough beds for a large family, full kitchen, and bath, it has everything you need for your stay. There was a litter of adorable puppies running around and if you visit soon enough you may even be able to take one home!
