We offer one private site on four acres, including a small pond, beach, treehouse, trails and peace and quiet. In addition to the tipi, there are kayaks, canoe, fire ring, wood supply, cooking equipment, dutch ovens, hammock, and tables and chairs. Campers will need to bring sleeping bags and food. Dogs are welcome. There is a rustic restroom (outhouse), with an outdoor shower. Water and electricity are available at the restroom and campsite. In addition, Navigation Play-Williamsburg, provides outdoor play opportunities at the farm on a seasonal basis. If interested, find her on her facebook page or find her link on my website www.walkingstickadventurescom.com Our dream was to restore an old farmstead to prairie and woods, grow our own food, make some wine and create a wonderland for grandchildren. The tipi and pond campsite is our way of sharing our place. We love meeting new people, especially those that are looking for a new camping experience.A great meeting place for families, just 3 miles from Interstate 80 and within 30 minutes of the Amana Colonies, Williamsburg Square. and Fireside Winery. Campers can drive to the site through our farmstead. We will be there to meet you and show you around. Parking is available at the site. Canoes, kayaks, cooking equipment etc will be set up at the campsite. There is a rustic restroom (outhouse) in the timber, just south of the tipi. It includes an outdoor sink and shower. Water and electricity are available at the restroom and campsite.

Can't wait to go back!
This was an incredible experience. You would never know that you are just 5 miles from I-80. Maria and Jeff were great hosts! They had everything we needed. Our dogs loved swimming in the pond and walking around the property after a long day of driving. My daughter had a blast kayaking in the pond and fishing for the first time. They had wood for a campfire in the evening. Jeff met us with some of his homemade wine, which was delicious! We loved our time here and will definitely be back again!!!

Beautiful site!
This place is amazing!! The couple who own the place and their very old dog Samsonite are vey welcoming. If you are looking for a good time away and you only have to being clothes and food this is the site for you. Tepee is amazing, wood is cut, towels provided for shower, and homemade wine! Highly recommend.

Our trip was amazing! My two young boys loved kayaking, swimming, berry picking, and playing on the beach. Everything you could possibly want at a camp site is there and ready to use. Maria and Kent were wonderful, encouraging us to explore their property and even shared 2 bottles of delicous homemade wine. I highly recommend for families!

Beautiful pond retreat
Beautiful land with everything you could possibly want! Our daughter loves paddling in the lake and playing on the beach. A real highlight was catching fireflies in the winding prairie paths at dusk.
