We have a cabin and a shepherd's hut located within our 3 acres of privately owned ancient woodland in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Guests can escape and relax amongst the trees whilst watching the red squirrels and the stars at night. At the bottom of the woodland runs Widdale Beck where guests can find secluded spots to enjoy the sound of the water and some wild swimming.

Thorneymire Woodland Retreat

We had an amazing time. It's such a beautiful place with all its little details. I would really like to come back and stay here again. And we saw a few red squirrels too. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts.

Thorneymire Shepherd's Hut

Hut in the ancient forest!

We had an amazing time in the Shepherd's hut! Caroline and Simon were great hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much. Loved the location, so pretty. The hut was very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Thank you for our milk and biscuits, perfect addition to a nice cup of tea while being entertained by the very clever red squirrels. 😍 Definitely recommend it and we will return. Thank you Moni & Afshin
