With a private valley, formed in the last ice age, acres of land and woodland to explore, our farm has a very special feeling which has been mentioned by every visitor. Occupied by some beautiful wildlife, including buzzards and owls, deer, badgers and foxes. The Wagons have a grass roof, firepits, sleep 4 (in double bunk format), they are hand-made from reclaimed materials salvaged from the local town and other areas, double skinned and insulated with sheeps wool. They have a 2-ring gas-burner in the cute kitchen area, dining table and seating, and are the perfect home away from home. All the decor is vintage, including cuttlery, crockery and even the childrens teddy's. Being on the doorstep of Dalby Forest, there are hours of entertainment to be had. You can follow the stream at the bottom of the valley to the River Derwent or venture into the surounding woods. We can provide a guest pass (free access) for Dalby Forest. The Wagons are not powered by electricity and are romantically lit by candles and oil lamps. Heated by cast iron gas heaters.

Chrome Glamping Wagon
What a gorgeous, quirky and comfortable caravan, with such a fantastic view! Bruce was really welcoming and passionate about the site, the landscape and the wildlife. My boys and i cooked hot dogs and smores on the fire pit outside while we watched birds, rabbits and deer, gathered round the stove inside and played games, then watched the stars before snuggling up in 2 big lovely beds. We enjoyed the delicious extras, especially the bread, bacon, eggs and cheese which made for a tasty breakfast. Really enjoyed ourselves and planning on staying again to enjoy Dalby firest and villages, and some of the Scarborough events.

This was a very special and quirky place to stay! Me and my 4yo loved exploring the wagon, the farm and nearby Dalby forest. The local treats on arrival were a really lovely touch.

Absolutely stunning settings. Quiet, private. Amazing views. Wagons so full of charm and character, beautifully thought through. Very comfortable beds. Barn and wagons very well stocked. Amazing welcome basket! Bruce's hospitality is outstanding. Highly recommend. You will make beautiful memories from the moment you land!

We loved these Wagons! So unique and unusual, yet unbelievably cosy with everything you could need. We loved it and can't wait to come back!! Bruce and his family are so kind and welcoming and they helped us out with everything we needed.
