Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Our property is peaceful, private, and gated. We are 22 miles south of Durango and 8 miles southwest of the Durango Airport. We are also 10 miles west of Ignacio, and Farmington, New Mexico, is 35 miles south of us. Lake Navajo, Lemon Reservoir, Vallecito Reservoir, and Lake Nighthorse are all located within 50 miles. We have 180° panoramic mountain views, with the best views of the La Plata Mountains and the Needles. Our RV pad offers electricity (50-amp service), septic, water (limited by tank capacity), and Wi-Fi. Hiking and walking opportunities are available on the property. We also offer fresh organic eggs for $5 per dozen.Site 1 is beautifully situated on 80 acres in Ignacio, Colorado. The site includes picnic table, table and 2 chairs, and an incredible view of the La Plata Mountains. You are welcome to hike around our property. We have found antlers and Indian artifacts on our hikes. We have dogs that are fenced yard and will greet you with a friendly bark. We are 2 miles off the main paved road on a dirt road that can have some washboard. Take it slow and easy, the destination is worth it. We are working on getting potable water in an IBC tote located on the RV pad.
