Tiny Cabin #1 (TC1) sits in middle of the property with Mountain to Ocean views. It's a great place for a weekend getaway for Star gazing, watch a sunset and City lights. A place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. A short drive away is the towns of Alpine and Descanso, Cuyamaca State Park and Laguna Mountain. San Diego Beaches are down I-8 . TC1 has two seating areas for your privacy. Plus, plenty of space to roam around. It's above the common game and dining area. Inside has two twin XL size beds, a small refrigerator, Coffee maker, and cabinet with cooking supplies. There is a microwave, two burner hot plate. The BBQ is propane. We have made some improvements to the TC put in new paint, rug bed frame, mattresses, guard rail on the loft bed and lights. There is an attached bathroom with a porta potty and sink. The outside bathroom is a few steps away. It has a sink, flushing toilet and cold water shower. This site has two seating areas. One under shaded Oak trees and the other is in front of the campfire. While a campfire ban is on we do allow Duraflame type logs. The property is located in a high risk fire zone. There is a common game and dining area.

Glamp in a rustic, peaceful weekend getaway. Enjoy the views and campfire. While surrounded by Manzanita and Oak trees. Watch sunset while the city light and stars illuminate. TC #2 has one queen bed, cabinet with plates, silverware, pots, microwave, mini fridge, one burner plate, coffee maker and supplies. Plus, a little desk. Outside has a BBQ, two seating areas, picnic table, small table and chairs next to the campfire ring. The outside bathroom is a short walk away. A portable potty. Cleaned and disinfected to Airbnb standards. Unfortunately, it's not best for Infants, Toddlers and Handicap.

Glamp in a rustic, quiet Teeny Cabin (10*20) semi-secluded area surrounded by Oak and Manzanita trees with amazing views. Watch the Sunset while the city lights and stars illuminate. Be cozy inside or sitting by the campfire. Pictures do not capture the beauty of the property. Many upgrades have been done to the interior. There is an attached bathroom. It has a portable sink and toilet. The flushing toilet and sink are a short walk away.

Consider this camping. Very limited amenities, a “dry” shed with no sink, but nice and remote. We didn’t stay because it didn’t fit our needs. I was only there 4 hours and requested a partial refund, and am still waiting.

We loved our stay at JoeLynns property!! we were the only people there (other than JoLynn) and the tiny cabin was perfect for a little glamping trip. The views were incredible for sunset and bed was super comfy.

We had a fantastic time this weekend at JoLynn's place. It's a beautiful piece of land with great views and plenty of space to explore in the chaparral. The cabin was great and the heater was enough to keep it comfortable at night. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful stay in the mountains.

Great little spot to spend the night. I was on my way to MX and needed a quiet place to recharge. This was the perfect location for me and my pups.

Oh my gosh JoLynn has the most healing peaceful place! Between the massive granite boulders, the fabulous mountain view overlooking San Diego, the unique babbling water fountain and the absolute darkness at night for the most vibrant star viewing is incredible! There are special parks throughout the world designated as dark sky sanctuaries, this surpasses the ones I've been to! I slept so well! My travel cat did too! JoLynn is a gem and knows the area well. If you're looking for the beautiful healing aspects of mother nature, this is your place! She said some people think its too far, but this is worth the trip, a return to nature that will heal your soul.

Tiny Cabin #2 amazing views
We booked this cabin for two days. I messaged the host to notify that we would be getting in later than check-in and received a reply telling me that it was double booked with Airbnb and that I’ll need to cancel to request a refund. Hipcamp still keeps a small cut so the refund was not for the full amount. The experience was disappointing.
