Staying at 10 Star Ranch was such an amazing experience. I originally booked two nights and ended up staying four with my two-year-old son because we loved it so much. The ranch has great Wi-Fi, clean and well-maintained shower and bathroom facilities, and the entire property feels incredibly safe and peaceful since it’s on private land off a private road. We happened to visit during a weekend birthday celebration at the ranch, and the hosts and guests were kind enough to invite us to join. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and we had an absolute blast. The sense of community and hospitality here is something special. I by truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly camping experience, or even a beautiful place to host an event or party, 10 Star Ranch is great location. Also, make sure to spend some time in Taft while you’re there. It’s a charming town with interesting history, wonderful local businesses, and genuinely friendly people.
10/10 experience — we will absolutely be back!

We had such a great stay at 10 Star Ranch Hip Camp. The property was peaceful and beautiful, and one of my favorite parts was listening to the birds — I identified over 25 different kinds during our stay using my Merlin ID ap. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with friends.
The host was amazing and very welcoming, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a comfortable, memorable stay and I would definitely come back. 🐦🌿

What stood out to us was the openness and friendliness of the hosts and the other campers who were staying there. The view was really beautiful as well. There are bbq's to use and a covered area with nice shade trees and grass. We appreciate there is a place to camp that isn't over crowded either.

Good access to the aqueduct for fishing plenty of activity from the fish even saw a few carp swim by. Rv hook ups work as intended, host was very communicative with me even though I showed up 6 hours late. Good spot.

William was very friendly and communicative, and made sure that I have everything that I needed. He’s still working on making the campground a more welcoming place (he acquired the property only 3 years ago and he works full time) but for me it was good enough. I stayed one night during my road trip on the way up north. He even told me about great restaurants to visit in town.
Hey, William! My visit to Asian Experience didn’t turn out right but I did go to Arts and loved their salad and service.

Quite remote (you have to go on a dirt road at the end), but lovely and quiet. Starry skies! Nice bathrooms with a shower. Spacious common areas with a couple of grills and a firepit.
William greeted me and got me settled.
The sites are nothing special but the common areas are very nice.

The open expanse of William's land is breathtaking with the mountains and rolling hills on all sides. There is lots of sagebrush, yes, but unusually there is also green lush growth this early spring. The neighbors are warm and generous as are the hosts. And the history of the land and ranch is rich and deep in American culture. I recommend this Hipcamp stay highly.

The site was what we expected, very quiet, no traffic noise. William was very helpful in advising where to park. We decided to stay a 2nd night because we liked it so much. William sent one of his employees by to check on us after we had arrived to see if we needed anything. We met our host the morning we were leaving and had a nice visit with him. We had a hard time finding this on Hip Camp because it had not been reserved much yet and didn't display on the search. We had to zoom in on a map to do an advanced search before being able to find it. Glad we did that as William's land was a great stay.
