Quiet slice of heaven under the stars on our homestead. Due to some unexpected commitments, it was necessary to reduce our camping experience for our winter 2024 season. We are very sorry, but will reopen as soon as possible. Please check back for open dates and sites Our space offers a tranquil setting with several camping options. Site # 1: Closed for 2024 season. Sorry Site #2: Closed for 2024 season. Sorry Site # 3: RV Glamping. Queen size bed with a dinette that can be used as an extra bed for the little ones. Site # 4 RV, Pop Ups or Living Quarters with horses/mules Site # 5 Boarding for Horses or Mules We offer Communal Spaces with restroom, grill, table, other seating with larger fire-pit. Feel free to visit our horses, chickens or hike our beautiful trails right from the property. Enjoy the horses, the stars at night and our neighboring coyotes sing if you are lucky. Our home is close by, the little white farmhouse on the hill. Thank you for looking!

Camp site #2 Perfect place for a small 2 or 3 person tent.   Bring yours or rent one of ours.   This site is for tent camping only. No RV or Campervan parking. Sorry. Camp site #2 sits up on an elevated flat camp site. Two sitting chairs with small fire-pit provided. Site just a short walk from your car/parking. Quiet, romantic little piece of heaven.  Get some quiet time outside the city and see the beauty of the stars at night. We do have singing coyotes, horses, ducks, chickens and a rooster. Camp site is private. Walk up several beautiful steps to your fantastic view. Site is private but is 150 feet from other camp sites on property. Please make sure to scroll down and check out our extras like firewood bundle, fresh eggs, heater rental, fan rental, sleeping bag rental, or meditation with our horses.  Property is adjacent to the CaveCreek National Forrest with several trailheads, so you can hike right off of our road. If you have horses, rent our roundpen or a stall (see extras below).  Close proximity to the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree. Gorgeous Sonoran desert surrounds this 5 acre equestrian area. Great hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking adjacent to property. Tent site is in our neighborhood of CaveCreek. We do have a noise and light ordinance. Quiet hours 9pm-6am. If you are wanting a raging fire or loud music, this may not be the right pick for you.

Guests will have access to communal pit toilet just a 2 minute walk away. Dry camping. There are no hookups at this site, but potable water is available at the communal area.

New Glamping Tent(9.2022), new decor, organic mattress, new pillows, sheets and bedding.  Come and enjoy the quiet and see the stars at night. Canvas tent with a private camp site just a short few steps from your car.  Site provides Glamping tent, comfy queen mattress, rugs on floor of tent,  floor sitting area.  Site also provides two chairs with table and private fire-pit steps outside of the  tent.  INCLUDES SHEETS, PILLOWS and BEDDING with a comfy blanket. Site has one electric cord to charge phone/ipad/computer.   Please make sure to scroll down and check out our extras like firewood bundle, fresh eggs, heater rental, fan rental, sleeping bag rental, or meditation with our horses.   Camp site is private but is 150 feet from other camp sites on property.   Property is adjacent to the CaveCreek National Forrest with several trailheads, so you can hike right off of our road. Cave Creek Overnight Horse Stalls

One reservation per animal. Add additional horses/mules below. Overnight human Campers booked separately. Options are Stalls/paddock or roundpen. $25 per night per horse(site booking shows each horse as one adult human and one stall/paddock is a bed). All overnights must bring their own feed and water buckets. Please keep stalls clean and clean up prior to leaving. Shavings available $15 per bag, 3 string bale of Bermuda $28. Property is adjacent to the Cave Creek National Forest with several trailheads, so you can ride right off of our road. Proof of Coggins required. Close proximity to the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree. Gorgeous Sonoran desert surrounds this 5 acre equestrian area. Great hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking adjacent to property. Location: Beautiful CaveCreek, Arizona. Just off of CaveCreek Road and Carefee Highway. We are located about 15 minutes from Dynamite Arena, 25 minutes from Horse Lovers Park, and 35 minutes from Westworld! Beautiful location within Cave Creek. Extremely well kept property. Very close to downtown Cave Creek but in a peaceful, quite neighborhood. Host was very welcoming. We really enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend.

Cave Creek Overnight Horse Stalls
Shantel is an amazing host. So helpful and available. The facilities for both horses and camping are outstanding. Really nice stalls, pens and arena. The views are spectacular. I would highly recommend Hipcamp for your stay!

This area was absolutely stunning. I was exactly the scenery I had in mind. The horses were beautiful added a nice touch, which we loved. Shantel was an amazing host and very responsive. I highly recommend.

Not far from shopping but you would think you were miles from the crowds. Very quiet in a residential neighborhood. Shantel sees to it that you want for nothing. Our second stay this year and already looking forward to our next visit in the Spring.

We arrived at this horse arena in the afternoon and dropped off our camper. The site is level and the property nice. We didn’t camp here but could have. We instead stayed with friends close by in a neighbourhood that didn’t allow campers. We came back two days later and picked it up. The site had a toilet and bbq grill and a fire pit that we might have used if we had stayed there. We felt safe and secure in this nice neighbourhood. Check in and check out was easy

Shantel was a very gracious host, the stars were pretty, and the tent was very comfortable and nicely lit. She was very nice to our dog and the grill was very nice. Perfect place!

Shantel was so nice and accommodating! Our campsite was near the horses, which was so lovely. The directions (coordinates) got us right to the site without a hitch. What a beautiful and relaxing area to spend a couple of days! It was nice and quiet - away from the noise of the city. We had the fire pit to ourselves and the bathroom was just a short walk. I would recommend this amazing site to anyone!

Shantel’s Quiet Homestead is aptly named. Far removed from the usual camping experience which was so refreshing. Coyotes sang to us at night and the rooster announced the morning. Our host could not have been more helpful. Shantel is the hostess with the mostest. We’ll be back.

We loved camping at Shantel’s place! It was the perfect location for an impromptu visit with family and friends as we made our way through the area. It is a quiet and serene location, yet close to any amenities you might need. We loved the horses, and Shantel was very pleasant to work with.

Glamping Tent with Queen Bed
Very comfortable glamping tent and hiking/biking/trail running practically next door. We needed a place to stay on the way through and this was much more fun than a hotel. The kids enjoyed the basket of board games in the tent while we slept in. That was the best part.

We loved the Tent with the Queen bed. The tent was roomy and the bed was so comfortable. I did get a heater and used it. My grandson loved climbing the rocks and trees. We got to give the chickens some worms. Shantel was very responsive and friendly.

Shantel was amazing. Oreo and Rascal were there to keep us company and add another pet my Daughter wants. We stayed Thursday and Friday night. It's a great first timer spot for the kiddos. Do Shantel a favor and clean up, even if it wasn't yours. She puts a lot of time into making it nice. Warn your kids about coyotes so they don't get scared when they hear them. ou will hear them a lot and close but the neighborhood dogs do a good job of keeping them away.

Was nice spot to throw up a tent and cook over an open fire. Bathroom was clean, horses were friendly and it was quiet and peaceful. Host offers a grill for use but we found it had no propane left. No biggie, we made a nice campfire and cooked. We will definitely be back.

I loved spending the night here! Quiet, beautiful, and great space. Hosts were friendly and gave great space. Sites are extremely well kept! Oreo and Rascal made for some extra-special camp guards. Thank you for a great stay!
