Great, but NOT as advertised
45 ft Class C · With pets · C&C are very kind/hospitable and reply quickly to questions/concerns. 50a, we didn't have an adapter and he brought one asap. The Ranch is quiet and the farm animals visiting was great! Site 51 was beautiful when there's sun. It's on the edge of the plain and across the field are stunning cliffs. The spot only has trees on one side and KS is extremely windy, so no awning/canopy and there's direct sun, making it extremely hot and most of the day was spent inside. Due to wind and heat don't buy the wood package in June. Row's 50-52 are in a direct line and not private. Spots are spacious and fit a rv & trailer & a truck/trailer.
Cons: Roads are AWFUL. Saline River Rd is terrible and you'll think it can't get worse and then there's the driveway. It's extremely bumpy with lots of deep ruts. I don't know how we'd get in/out if it had rained. It's a ranch, bring bug spray, the biting flies are miserable and EVERYWHERE. One of the 3 porta potties was far away even as one of the closest spots. if you really have to go you'll have to drive. AT&T has no service and T-Mobile struggled.
False advertisement: the activities say hiking trails and swimming/paddling. The creek is not swimmable. Had to ask about it and was told lakes are 30 & 45 miles away. Hiking trails weren't cleared, he had to show us one and the 3 others weren't accessible. DANGEROUS! Not child/dog friendly. Had to climb through barbed wire, hike in knee length grass, and cactus were everywhere. Wouldn't stay again.
