Very peaceful place. Matt & Deb met us as we pulled up. We camped in #1 and it was nice & flat. The port-o-pottie & washing station were spotless. I think the cleanest I've ever used. We would definitely say there again.

The site was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. It’s obvious they take great pride in the property and work hard to make it welcoming for all guests. We would absolutely camp here again.

We loved camping in our cargo trailer at Under the Cedars. The site accommodated our cargo trailer and jeep without any worry. There is a pet area for our pooch and an amazing clean and well stocked porta potty. Matt and Deb have thought of everything. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely view with us.

This was our second time staying on Matt and Deb’s land, Under the Cedars. We absolutely love this camping spot and highly recommend it for anyone travelling through this area. The area is extremely peaceful and immaculately maintained. We will return on our annual motorcycle journey through Idaho!!!

We loved our camping experience at Under the Cedars! Matt and Deb have really made their property a special place for campers to enjoy and they are the perfect hosts! Our three children loved finding painted rocks hidden all over the campground and brought them back to the hosts in exchange for a special treat. The campground was very clean, tidy and areas were clearly marked. We will definitely be back for a future stay. Thank you!

Very nice quiet spot. One of my teenagers was talking about of it how it was just what a camp site was supposed to look like for her. The trees and fire ring… all is kept very clean and communication was great coming and going.

Took my family here for my littles first trip & it most definitely exceeded our expectations!! Matt & Deb were wonderful! They had painted rocks all around the property for the kids to find and receive a prize! They had firewood ready at each camp. The sites were very clean & well taken care of! The view is AMAZING & it’s just a short drive to nearby swimming beaches/ fishing docks & dog beaches! 1000/10 will be coming back!!

If you're looking for a truly exceptional camping experience check out 'Under the Cedars" campground. The sites are well kept and clean. Being a smaller campground is wonderful, you don't feel like you're camping in an apartment complex. And as far as camp hosts go, we liked Matt and Deb from the moment we met them. They were just warm and friendly from the start, helpful but always respectful of our space and mindful of our joy in getting away from everyday life. Quite honestly, if we're ever just passing through, we most likely will swing out of our way just to stop in and say hi.

One of my favorite Hipcamps! Matt and Deb were so helpful and most accommodating. Their property is beautiful and so well kept, I especially loved the cedars. Having a porto toilet and wash station was also a huge bonus, and my dog and I loved the pet area field to play fetch. A few buddies and I unloaded dirt bikes at camp, and were only a few mile ride down the road from some really rad trails to ride! Less than an hour ride to Gisborn fire lookout too. 10/10 would recommend, and I will be returning in the future.

Deb and Matt were wonderful just . Upon arrival they met us in person and we all chatted a bit. Their property is very well maintained and thoughtful for quest. We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t have kids but recommendation maybe a small play area for kids. And maybe an outside shower. They have large spots with fire pits and a very clean port-a potty . We will return . Great pull through site for our 27’ Class C pulling a small car. Large site with water and power, fire pit with wood. Nice and quiet, everyone very friendly. Large area to let the dogs run free. Great camp hosts and highly recommend!

Under the Cedars is beautiful, well kept, welcoming and peaceful… We enjoyed watching the deer grazing in the meadow in the evenings. She graced us with her presence in camp a couple of times, what a joy to see her so close! We were there all week and can’t wait to go back.

Due to travel we spent one night here and booked it last minute. Matt and Deb were super accommodating and friendly and welcomed us during a (last minute) arrival. Each site was easy to set up at, had a fire pit (and free fire wood!) and a flat soft spot for a tent. The bathroom and water was a porta potty set up but very clean- nicer than many public campgrounds I have been to. Overall great site and would highly recommend! Would definitely return!

A beautiful setting. Peaceful and roomy. More firewood than we could burn. This Hipcamp appears to be a several steps above the others we looked at with the individual sites well situated and established. Matt and Deb were great. Helped us get parked, checked on our needs. Let us know to touch base with them if we needed anything and stopped by in the afternoon/evening to check on us as well. Simply great people. Left feeling like we were part of the family. We’ll definitely be back.

This is a great spot to camp that is central to everything. We were greeted by Matt and Deb and they helped us get situated. They are great hosts. Site was level and so clean. We will definitely visit them again.
