This site is super convenient for skiing and dirt biking! It has all the amenities as advertised, and the location is wonderfully peaceful.

It was a very pretty area by the mountains. Derek was a very friendly host and had a great garden that he shared. Safe neighborhood with a beautiful picnic area on the river. Within travel distance to hiking trails and small towns

Beautiful piece of land to spend some time. Full hook-ups with the best water! Derek was very helpful and gave good advice on where to go in the area. Would/will definitely stay here again!

Persis View Campsite
Location is good but there is no privacy or seclusion in this site as you are parking in front of a garage right next to the hosts house. Sites are very crowded within feet of each other. There is no view from where you park, just a garage, a house, the road and a tiny home trailer that seems to be permanently parked a couple of feet away from your site. Overall I am glad I didn’t spend the night at this campsite. As I pulled into the driveway the host was yelling at me to leave. I was puzzled at first because I prepaid and reserved a spot. He started yapping about what am I driving and where will I go to the bathroom or take a shower? I just needed a place to park my car to car camp that night and head to the trailhead early morning. He said he only allows RV’s with a bathroom to plug into his system. We agreed to a refund and I left.

Derek's site is a great place to park in the area. We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed! Close to so much the area has to offer for outdoor activities and close enough to hang out in downtown Seattle too.

Level, well lit. Only the tiniest bit difficult to find if you arrive at night, gps got it we didn't :). We asked in advance to arrive late and Derek was very quick to confirm with the other guest that it was ok and counicate completely with me via hipcamp/text, which was my preference. Definitely will stop in again to avoid driving through the pass at night.

Thank you Derek for making our stay so great you were a totally amazing host it was great to get to know you! Even though your two guest's are close to each other they were great people as well. We had lots of fun we look forward in doing it again sometime. For us it was a short trip away from home but it worked out for the Better for us this year! There is lot's to do around the area so get out and enjoy yourselves life is to short to not! Thanks again Derek will talk soon! Stay safe 💙 we give you 5 🌟star's

We are on a three week vacation and have stayed at a hip camp site almost every night. We have t had a bad one yet but this place was by far the best. Not because it was a remote and private location (honestly it was neither) but because of the warmth and hospitality of the host, Derick. He came out to meet us and help us get our 44’ camper backed into one of his two sites. It was very handy to have such a nice level spot not to mention to be able to hook up directly to electric, water and sewage, definitely rare at hip camp. We found Derick to be so helpful on local knowledge. He took us around and showed us both put in and take out locations for tubing on the river, pointed out good fishing spots, playgrounds for the kids local hiking trails and even directed us to some local site seeing opportunities in the puget sound area based on his lifelong experience with the area. We had a fantastic time and honestly a place that was essentially meant to be a layover spot ended up being one of the major highlights of our vacation. Felt like we had family to show us around the area from a locals perspective.

Derek was an amazing host! This site is very easy to get to and quiet (minus the occasional train). The only things I would caution future guest with is speed of cell internet if you need it to work while traveling. Great place to stay overall!

Derek was very nice, welcoming and friendly without being overly friendly or bothersome. As it turned out, I wasn't feeling well during my stay and it was a great place to just relax and heal. I have stayed at places where I felt the need to be friendly and talk and I just wasn't up to it this trip. I enjoyed discussing his vegetable garden with him when I was able to be out and about. I had the place to myself as site 1 is occupied long term and they were not there this weekend. I will return.

Derek is an awesome host. He is so accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area and things to do. The site is clean, SO level, and so very quiet...even if you have a neighbor on the lot, you hardly know they’re there. We have enjoyed staying here so much we extended as long as the calendar would allow us (extended stay camping traveling family here). Derek has been super available and so attentive to any needs. Definitely consider Persis View for your RV traveling! You won’t be sorry.

I booked this site for my husband, brother, and close friend for a boy's weekend away. Upon arrival, they were quite shocked to see that the "site" was actually just a driveway in a small housing subdivision. The photos make it seem like you will be in nature, but that is not the case. The other "site" is about 8 feet away, so there is no privacy or feeling of seclusion. However, the totally misleadig photos and description were not the worst part. After my husband noticed that the host was wearing a Texas Longhorns hat, he shared that he was born and raised in Texas. For some reason, the host then thought it was appropriate to make a totally offensive and hateful political comment (which I can't repeat here). The guys then made the decision not to stay at this listing. So, if you would like to stay in someone's driveway and be subjected to divisive comments from someone you just met, then this is the place for you. If not, then I would suggest finding another site

Derek is an unbelievably awesome host! He goes above and beyond anything his guests could possibly need. Not only is he a great guy, but he’s made sure no detail has been overlooked when it comes to accommodating us during our stay. The spot is amazing! It’s set amongst the trees with gorgeous mountains as a backdrop, and right off an incredibly beautiful river that is very accessible. There’s a picnic table, a fire pit, a grill, and the spot is perfectly level with all the hookups in excellent condition. Honestly, it couldn’t possibly have been better, and I can’t possibly recommend Derek’s spot highly enough to other Hipcampers! Thanks, Derek!
