The Briar @Blackberry Hill
FALLing in love at The Briar.
Another great time at the West Preserve property. This time we booked The Briar cottage for the week. The cabin was clean and well kept and had everything we needed--- sink, small fridge/freezer, counter area, and Keurig coffee pot. Beautifully furnished and a comfy bed. The property was nicely decorated for the fall and the colorful trees and sounds of the creek only added to the ambiance. West Tubing company runs off of the property and also has events on the property or at their headquarters up the road--- check their schedule on the their website/Facebook. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Murphy and local wineries. 10/10 we will be back.

Site 6
Great Location For Camping
Great, secluded spot! Site #6 is especially private as it’s at the end of the trail. Fall asleep to the sounds of the creek after relaxing by the water.

Site 6
Cute little spot
Junes property is absolutely beautiful! We stayed at site 6 with our two dogs. The property and accomodations were very well kept and quiet. There is a little walk from your vehicle to the spot. I wouldn't recommend any heavy coolers. We kept our cooler and a tub of dry goods under the provided pavilion. An electric outlet and light was also provided in the tent. There is also a tubing company that runs off of the propery-- so if that interests you, the company is "west tubing company." At their headquarters up the road they have live music and local food--check the company's website for the events. We are looking forward to coming back this fall.

The Bloom @ Blackberry Hill
The cabin named the Bloom that we stayed in was cute and quaint. it was a bed and small sink and small fridge. We still felt like we were really camping but had some where comfortable to sleep. Definitely recommend.

Site 6
Pretty neat place
We came to west preserve in early august and stayed in a canvas tent. We arrived to a bumpy gravel road which was fine for us. But we were initially confused about the signs that stated pedestrians only past this point. But host responded and we were assured we could drive it. We walked down past the tubing section and primitive sites with fire pit, past a hand wash station and picnic area with creek access. Site was equipped with an air mattress two chairs a dim light and a small deck that overlooked a small creek. We stayed in site 6 and the site was absolutely perfect. Site 1 is closest to the exit and 6 is the farthest, the path was descently lit at night and pretty easy to navigate if you are okay with a short flatish hike, if you stop at pedestrian only sign it will be a longer walk. Directions were easy to follow. The only miscommunication was weather we could drive to the site. Which she ensured we could. Of the canvas tents each canvas tent is right on the creek. The stars out were impressive the temperature in the tent stayed cool until around 10 am as its covered in shade. We did not use the showers but there was spiders blocking access. Overall not too buggy great stay! Would definitely come back with a group!
