Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

Camp in a backyard in a quiet area with a barn and horses nearby. Site 1 has water hookup and a 30 amp and 110 outlet available. Site 2 has water access and a 110 outlet available. Site 3 is for tent camping only and is more secluded. It does have water access available. These sites are a great spot to watch the sunset or watch the stars at night. These all are self contained camping spots. I do have two very friendly dogs that will most likely come say hi to you. Dewey Beer is 1 mile away in Harbeson. Lewes beach is only about 10 minutes away and Rehoboth beach is about 20 minutes away. Sports at the beach is only 5 miles away. Tanger outlets is 8 miles away. Delaware Turf sports complex is 24 miles. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby. You can also bring your bikes and ride the bike trail from our lane to Lewes or Rehoboth! Feel free to ask for recommendations!

Want to be close to Long Beach Island (LBI) without the crowds? You've found the place! Our lot is 1.22 acres only several miles away from LBI, New Jersey. The owner-occupied residence is tucked away from the road with only one neighbor in sight.
We live in a 1987 geodesic dome home on the property. Additionally, our self-converted 2002 International Blue Bird school bus is parked here. There is plenty of room for you to park in the circle driveway or to the left of the dome.
Enjoy our large, fenced backyard with plenty of room for activities. We have yard games available (Yard Yahtzee, Spikeball, Molkky, lawn darts, and more) and you're welcome to bring them to the beach. Crab traps, fishing poles, and a cooler are available too. Thanks Ron! Was a great and secluded spot with privacy from neighbors and im sure more so once the corn grows tall. Felt safe and secure with the thick wooded viney perimeter. Perfectly manicured sandy area with all you need for a few nights of outdoors like string lights, a fire pit, a grill, and seating. We brought too much of gear not realizing all that is provided. Great view of the stars on a clear night as well, wish I had a telescope with me. 30 mins from the beach and surf fishing. I wish I had caught some to throw on the provided park grill. Ron likes fresh fish so feel free to share if you get a good haul. Appreciate all the fire wood and use of the camper facilities. Hopefully we can stay again in the fall. 5 outta 5 will stay again. Everyone can ignore the bad reviews about the stuff in the front yard. A retired man has to have his hobbies fixing stuff up. The camping area is amazing and he rakes the sand like its a zen garden. Thanks again Ron for sharing your little oasis and im sure Emily is smiling down at what youve created in her name. Also his dog is super sweet.

This site was great! We had a rainy weekend but the tree cover was helpful and Ron supplied plenty of fire wood. Having access to the bathroom was very nice. Ron was responsive and super friendly, we hope to be back for sunny weather!

I got into some luck in finding Huck and Buck!
They are a welcoming host. The farm offered clean, clear sites to set up camp. The bathroom amenity is superb with 3 individual fully functional latrines and 1 shower. It almost gives it a B&B feel. They are a busy couple keeping up with the farm and it was a small learning experience to give a helping hand with the animals. Thank you.

This is a wonderful site and perfectly located just a short drive from Long Beach Island! The parking area is flat, very accessible, and features a beautiful vibe surrounded by trees. Communication with our host was excellent, including clear and helpful directions on exactly where to park. Would highly recommend a stay here!

This site was truly peaceful and serene. I set up my tent under the canopy, realizing I forgot tent stakes. I probably didn't need them as the weather was beautiful and not very windy, but the host was kind enough to find ones for me to borrow anyway! I liked that it was private and tucked away, but still close enough to a running toilet and shower. I didn't use the jacuzzi, but it's a cool feature. You are provided a headlamp, lantern, bug spray, and bunch of wood - it's the little things that make a stay comfortable and memorable. I would absolutely come back!

This is our third visit to this site, and it continues to be simply amazing. We always stay at Site 1, where we’re able to set up right on the lakeside with an incredible, wide-open view of the water. The property is consistently quiet, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. We had no issues with ticks during our stay, and taking the canoe out on the lake is always a highlight. We even caught a few sightings of wild turkeys, which made the experience even better.
It’s a fantastic site for both large gatherings and smaller, more intimate groups. The available porta-john is clean and well maintained, which is always a plus when camping. Easily one of the best campgrounds in this part of the country, it offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature. Cell reception is also decent, allowing you to stay connected if needed without taking away from the outdoor experience.

We booked this place last minute and I’m so happy we found it! The spot was quite had a beautiful pond and lots of space. My boyfriend enjoyed fishing in the pond, caught some good fish. I thought the swing was a cute touch to the site. They had kindling and plenty of firewood around. Didn’t catch his name but sunglasses guy on the quad took us right back to our spot. Definitely recommend and would book again thank you!!

Island Getaway is such a fun and unique experience and LaMar was an incredibly conscientious host. We had to cut our trip a bit short unfortunately due to weather and could only stay for one night but we are already trying to make plans to return with friends. We saw the most amazing wildlife like otters, herons, and bald eagles. If it wasn’t for the unfortunate weather it would have been a perfect camping trip. It is true that you can hear sounds from the road and from the air base at night. But honestly, I didn’t mind it at all.

I liked it. There were miniature ponies outside my window at night, it was cool to occasionally hear pony sounds when I was in bed. Animals were friendly. She was working on adding extra ammenaties, which I though made it look like she cared. Environment was nice. Asked for extra accomodations and she helped me out. Easy to get in.
