From camping and horseback riding to fishing and rappelling, the outdoors is at your full disposal here. Come in the fall to marvel as the leaves change. Hiking trails are clearly marked and most are pretty easy.
The whole park is clean and beautifully maintained, and visitors seem to respect that (and each other). Whether you stay in the Lodge or not, don't miss the luxury of a family-style fried chicken dinner there.
