Get away from the hustle and bustle and settle into life on a real working farm in western Nebraska. We grow specialty crops of cut flowers & Pumpkins. Just over 3 hours from Denver, BE Farm offers more than just a place to spend the night—it’s a full immersion in farm life, nature, and wide-open skies. With Nebraska’s iconic Chimney Rock just 8 miles south, Scotts Bluff National Monument 25 miles west, and Carhenge 40 miles northeast, adventure is never far. At night, the Milky Way lights up the sky—so vivid it feels like you could scoop it up in your hand. The campsite is nestled along Wildhorse Creek, shaded by trees and surrounded by wildlife. Deer, raccoons, and native birds are common visitors, and Rainbow and Brown trout glide through the waters (note: no fishing is allowed). In summer, you might spot Farmer Billy tending crops or setting irrigation at sunrise and sunset—it’s all part of the BE Farm experience. During October, it’s Pumpkin Patch season at BE Farm, and with your stay, you’ll be welcome to enjoy all the fall vibes at the Farm. A quick note: The Farm is open to the public on Fridays (4 p.m.–dark), Saturdays (10 a.m.–9 p.m.), and Sundays (10 a.m.–6 p.m.). Farmer Billy will do his best to ensure you enjoy your time here, but please note that other guests will be present at the farm during open hours. Billy is such a wonderful host. The spot was near a creek that was lovely and intimate. We did enjoy the yard games and joined in on some pumpkin picking. We will definitely stay again, and highly recommend.

Great spot on a working farm. I stayed during pumpkin season and got to enjoy the food and laughter as a bonus. Quiet, private space that backs up to the creek and offers a stellar sunrise view in the morning.

Weekend Trip to Wildhorse Creek At BE Farm

I came here from Colorado for a weekend getaway and wasn't disappointed. The farm and flowers are beautiful. The spot I camped was right next to a little river. The owner, Billy, was very nice and helpful. The farm cat Sir Gordon camped with me for the weekend. You can pick and make your own flower arrangement during season. There is a water spigot and firewood for sale . The closest store is a dollar general about 10 minutes away. Farm is about 30 minutes east of Scott's Bluff Monument.

2 nights at Wildhorse Creek At BE Farm

We had a fantastic time at my horse Campground. Billy‘s farm offered a very unique opportunity to be able to see and be part of a working farm in action. Billy was friendly and helpful. Interacting us to the campsite where we had adequate water and shade pretty much anything you could ask for he had thoughtfully delivered firewood to the site for us to use in the fire ring and showed us where how to get more in case we needed it. If you want your kids to have the opportunity to have a tractor driving lesson or see how commercial flowers or pumpkins are raised. This is your place. Billy can direct you to many other recreational opportunities in the area. Very close to Scott’s Bluff and chimney rockWe will go back here to camp anytime we get the opportunity to do so. Super fun we highly recommend it!!.
