Under the care of third generation steward, Lisa Betz-Marquez, the beautiful bluffs feature a stunning backdrop to a those seeking a private and peaceful experience, birding, wildlife-spotting, or an adventure-seeking hike. Rustic Tent sites (allowing cars, vans, rooftop tents, truck campers, and motorcycles, but not RVs or pull-behind trailers) are located directly on the prairie. The prairie is a fragile environment. To preserve its beauty and health, trailers and RVs must book the RV sites. We appreciate your cooperation. RV sites 50 amp electricity and a rustic experience on crushed concrete near our corral. You'll have foot access just steps from the prairie. Weekend Trip to Peaceful Prairie Campsites

This was the best site I've ever camped at and can't recommend it enough! You're all to yourself but still nearby other sites. The town, as well as Scottsbluff NM and Chimney Rock, are close by. Lisa was an excellent host, wish we could've talked longer! Make sure you're well prepared for the weather...the wind swept through the canyon just right and snapped our tent. Will definitely look for this place again the next time I come out!

This land is gorgeous and we felt so lucky to camp there. We decided to camp last minute on our cross country road trip back home to Idaho and it happened to be my birthday. The sunset was incredible and the prairie was gorgeous. Be prepared for the wind!

Wow, it was raining HARD when we were driving towards the Peaceful Prairie location and the road condition concerned Lisa. She contacted us right away about getting into our spot and settled. Through the hip camp site/app and LIsa's guidance, we found our spot just fine and had a nice evening in the drizzle. Woke up to some beautiful fog and singing birds. The road does get a little greasy with that kind of rain, but we did fine.

I came here from Colorado for a weekend getaway and wasn't disappointed. The farm and flowers are beautiful. The spot I camped was right next to a little river. The owner, Billy, was very nice and helpful. The farm cat Sir Gordon camped with me for the weekend. You can pick and make your own flower arrangement during season. There is a water spigot and firewood for sale . The closest store is a dollar general about 10 minutes away. Farm is about 30 minutes east of Scott's Bluff Monument.

2 nights at Wildhorse Creek At BE Farm

We had a fantastic time at my horse Campground. Billy‘s farm offered a very unique opportunity to be able to see and be part of a working farm in action. Billy was friendly and helpful. Interacting us to the campsite where we had adequate water and shade pretty much anything you could ask for he had thoughtfully delivered firewood to the site for us to use in the fire ring and showed us where how to get more in case we needed it. If you want your kids to have the opportunity to have a tractor driving lesson or see how commercial flowers or pumpkins are raised. This is your place. Billy can direct you to many other recreational opportunities in the area. Very close to Scott’s Bluff and chimney rockWe will go back here to camp anytime we get the opportunity to do so. Super fun we highly recommend it!!.

This was a great quiet little campground. We had some issues with the camper the first night but it was nothing major and the host was so accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this place and the rental of the camper on site to friends.

2 nights at Peaceful Prairie Campsites

We spent two peaceful nights at the Cozy Cove campsite at Peaceful Prairie in July 2025. The campsite itself is true to its name - cozy. It is just several minutes to town, but feels like you are a world away with the prairie to yourself. Lisa provides a trash can, two tables, and two firepits, and firewood all immediately at the campsite itself, giving you a sense of being alone in the wilderness while still having the comforts of an established campground- truly the best of both worlds! Lisa was so friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend Peaceful Prairie and the Cozy Cove site in particular for the ultimate prairie camping experience! 🙂

The campsite is exactly what we expected. We had beautiful views of the national landmarks. And the stars at night were spectacular. There really isn’t much shade at all. So if you go during summer months bring a canopy of some sort. We didn’t use the shower. We weren’t too sure about the safety of bugs there. But over all

Last Chance Camp was exactly as described! We didn't end up staying the night as we decided to just keep powering through our drive, but we did stop off to plug in, stretch our legs (and let the kids go a little crazy) and while there we looked around and spoke to Christine. She was very welcoming. The shower ran hot and the kitchen looked sufficient. Porta potty was clean even though it was towards the end of the week (though we were there "off season." Overall a great place to stay :)
