Our ranch is home to sheep, cattle, goats, chickens, cats and dogs. We're animal lovers and we hope you are too! We have shared restrooms for our guests. This space is jointly used between the guests who stay in our vintage airstream, as well as our tent sites. It features a shower, tub and relief facilities. We also have an outdoor shower if you're feeling adventurous! Potable water is available on-site but must be hauled into your campsite. Campsites are furnished with a small camp grill, fire ring and picnic table. All tent sites are accessible by foot only. We have a parking lot for you to keep your vehicle and wagons for use to get items to your site. Each site is no further than a one to five minute walk. We sell firewood and charcoal for your grilling adventures and these can be reserved ahead of your stay (cash or Venmo only). We also have some camping essentials to rent to lighten your load. We are close to several attractions including New Glarus, Yellowstone Lake State Park, House on the Rock, Cave of the Mounds, Blue Mounds State Park and Mineral Point! We bought the farmette with much work outside and home interior remodel to complete. We slowly turned the property into our family oasis. We neighbor a pasture with cows. There are free range chickens running around during the day. Geese greet us every evening and morning at the pond...as do the many bullfrogs. Occasionally you'll hear the coyotes, but they keep their distance. The stars shine peacefully and the sunsets are picturesque (most afternoons). The pond is a great place to swim and fish. The hillside is a nice walk for exercise or take the easier route and sit under the great oak tree in the other pasture. Campsites are off the road, behind our main home. You won't find a sign...we keep it simple. We allow pets at the sites for a $5 per pet/per night. If you would like to bring a pet, please add the Pet Fee which is listed on the Extra during the booking process. We have firewood available for sale, $5.55/bundle. This is located in the Extra section during the booking process. Lastly, there is free range chicken eggs available for purchase, $3.50/dozen. My fiancé and I had the best time! Kriss and Shannon are the nicest hosts and have created the most beautiful and relaxing property imaginable. Even on a cold October evening we were super cozy in our camper van. The sauna is a must, as are the delicious baked treats Kriss makes from scratch every morning. There is no kitchen so you can’t cook, but there is a fridge if you wanna bring cold food. All the animals; the sheep, the chickens, the dogs, and especially the adorable cats, are so sweet and approachable. We’re already planning our next visit!

I had a great time staying in the pod on Nance’s land with my dog. She was a great host! It’s behind the barn and in its own area. Other campers were there and I didn’t hear them. I had a campfire under the trees where I could look up at the fire and see the stars. It was fun to explore on her land. I meditated on one of the two platforms in the open field area. Very calming listening to nature. The barn was nice to use her burners to make coffee and she has refrigerators in there to store food.

The land and campers are all beautifully maintained. The family was friendly and more than accommodating for my daughter and I. I would love to come back and spend time here. Only issue I had was the restaurants in town aren’t always open when their posted hours say they will be, so I had two occasions where I’d planned to go try a place for dinner, and then they weren’t open when I got there. This does not reflect on the farm or the owners at all, but if we stay here again, I will plan on doing more of my own cooking to avoid those situations. The farm was amazing, it’s right outside of a super cute little town with a park, fishing and swimming, and less than 20 minutes from an incredible state park that offers even more of those things. I do plan on coming back.

Our stay was amazing! Half of our group tent camped, half in the camper. The camper worked perfect with 2 beds and came with an ice cold mini-fridge and two fans. We enjoyed all the amenities that Kriss offers at the farm especially the indoor bathroom and shower. Coffee and morning pastries were delicious and made with berries picked right on the farm. The cats were friendly and a fan favorite for the kids. We look forward to staying again in the Fall. The views on our second night were incredible, the stars were something that we don’t get to see in the city.

This was our first time glamping in the trailer after previously camping in tents on the property, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The trailer was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed - from kitchen essentials to bedding - which made our stay super relaxing and stress-free. The setting is just as beautiful as I remember: peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. It's the perfect blend of outdoorsy charm and comfort. Easy drive to Galena for shopping and exploring. Hours of fun at the campground for the kids. Fun pond to swim in. You can really feel the love and care the hosts put into this place. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay exceeded expectations. The little house was clean, warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the isolation, scenery and neighborhood cows. The adventure started when it rained and we participated in an impromptu team building exercise of getting the car unstuck from the mud. We would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle to relax in nature.

My wife and I had such a beautiful stay here in this unique and intimate vintage airstream. We had plenty of camping space right outside the door of the air stream as well, so we had plenty of space for games and activities and had dinner on the campfire along with s'mores! Brittany our host was so responsive and was there if we needed anything. Showers and bathroom were only a few steps away from the Airstream. and can't forget the amazing outdoor shower which was a dream to use! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! P.S. the farm animals and dogs that greeted us as we drove in were a such a beautiful addition to our stay here. <3
