Weekend Trip to The Land

This was an awesome place to camp! Usually I don't see the host much, but this host was very friendly and accommodating. The site was about 0.25 miles from where our car parked and he brought all of our things there for us in his trailor. He even came back later to help us blow up our air mattress. The land itself was so secluded and really quite. There is a spring with fresh drinking water. You can see so many stars at night too!

Julie was such a kind and accommodating host. If you love animals, you’ll love this farm. Wide open spaces, a giant fire pit, very low light pollution at night for amazing stargazing. The bathroom with toilet and deep wash basin connected to the barn brought so much convenience and comfort. I just can’t express how welcoming and friendly Julie and her husband Shannon were to me. 10/10, I plan on coming back!

We absolutely loved this spot. Very secluded, which was exactly what we needed for a reset weekend. Only one other plot we are aware of this property, and it wasn’t in use (a small cabin on the other side of a tree line). Nestled in the Appalachian foothills, the lush greenery and vibrant fall colors made this plot especially perfect. We loved the meadow, and having such a large, secluded space to ourselves for the weekend. We will be back!

3 nights at Coon Creek Cove Hideaway

Coon Creek Cove is a wonderful place to get away and recharge out in some nature. The space is very nice for a small camper like our teardrop or a tent. I wouldn’t bring any kind of large RV as the road getting into their valley is very tight with several switchbacks. Nick is an incredible host who showed us right to our site, checked up on us and always asked if we needed anything. The space is well maintained and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing the rooster crow at all hours of the day.

Their farm is extremely charming, and Julie and her husband were excellent hosts. The perfect spot to stop off for the night on my Motorcycle trip. Heads up if you are on a motorcycle, there is a dirt road involved but it’s not bad. 10/10

Oh my goodness!!! All of the sweet animals were so fun to interact with and educational too! Julie was so kind and opened up her farm to us to enjoy freely. My 14 and 7 year old boys loved playing in the creek, having a bonfire, and snuggling the animals. The driveway was a little intimidating but we had no issues in our 26 ft camper!!! Well marked with signs once you get closer which was super helpful. If we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stay there again!!!

This was our first time we used Hipcamp and we stayed at the Wild Goat Farm.We were extremely impressed! The owner Julie and her Husband were very nice and so helpful and gracious,their farm was wonderful! We got to get close to the animals and pet them! We loved it and will definitely go again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Goats Farm. Our boys loved hanging out with the animals. We even had a turkey hang out at our campfire for a few minutes.

Very private space, beautiful open field protected by mountains. Nik is an excellent host. Internet was easily accessible at the farm. Great hiking and local farm food.
