Oh my goodness!!! All of the sweet animals were so fun to interact with and educational too! Julie was so kind and opened up her farm to us to enjoy freely. My 14 and 7 year old boys loved playing in the creek, having a bonfire, and snuggling the animals.
The driveway was a little intimidating but we had no issues in our 26 ft camper!!! Well marked with signs once you get closer which was super helpful.
If we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stay there again!!!

I absolutely loved this campground. It was waaayyy off any main roads and so far from any big cities. The peace it offered was incredible. The stars, amazing. The River, perfect. We stayed on C5 and loved the privacy that it offered, although I wish the river front sites weren’t only for groups. But the walk to the river wasn’t far at all, even in the pitch dark. The layout of the campground was nice, easy to understand and find things. We did meet the owner and the caretaker and both were very pleasant! Maybe not a campground for kids as there isn’t a lot to do with kids and the river seemed a little fast (and deep) for little ones, but would definitely recommend for a time away from the real world.

So sad we could only stay to sleep. We drove down the dark and windy road seeing nothing but what was in front of us. Arrives and had a little bit of a difficult time figuring out where the site was, but that was our fault for coming in after dark. What a surprise we woke up to with the river right across the street. I wish we had more time to stay and explore, but it’ll give us a reason to come back.

Loved camping at our primitive RV10 spot as we had the whole area to ourselves with no one staying in the cabins around us. Listening to the river rushing over the rocks at night was bliss. A large oak tree fell across the road early one morning and Jim, the camp host was prompt in cutting it up. The road to the camp was narrow and we felt lucky not to meet anyone on our treks into town. Next time we would throw in a portable shower as the trek out into the river across the rocky river bottom was a bit precarious for us older folks.

Brooklyn Heights was a great campground! After pulling in to our spot we were immediately greeted by Jim. He was a one man welcoming committee, made sure we knew our way around and showed us the best beach options. The river is relaxing and the sites are all super private.

This was our first time we used Hipcamp and we stayed at the Wild Goat Farm.We were extremely impressed! The owner Julie and her Husband were very nice and so helpful and gracious,their farm was wonderful! We got to get close to the animals and pet them! We loved it and will definitely go again.

The primitive RV site 6 was amazing! Spacious (we had a pull behind teardrop trailer as well as as a tent), clean and the river access was right across the road! The camp hosts were so attentive and accommodating. The camp office and coffee tent area were a great addition and the firewood was handy and easily accessible! We did not do any of the hikes near the campsite, but we heard great things! We drove the half hour to Blackwater Falls one day and then another day the 20 minutes to Thomas. Both were fantastic side trips!

Absolutely loved our stay at this riverside campsite! The location was peaceful and beautiful—perfect for relaxing by the water. Jim and Sharon were incredibly helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked our next visit. Highly recommend!

I loved camping on earthsky’s land. Emily and her husband were cool, kind and accommodating. Best thing about this place was being able to kayak right to our tent site after a day on the river. Well maintained and felt like you were off the beaten path but only 10 or so minutes to town!

Second time at Earth Sky. Loved it even more this time. This spot has super easy access to the river for swimming and tubing and a very quick trip into town will get you to Sheetz and Tractor Supply. Needed a little help from Emily and her and Dusty were super quick to respond and help us resolve the issue. We will definitely be back. 🩷✌️

Weekend Trip to Creekside Haven at the Farm
This spot is wonderful. The property is serene, well-kept, and very accessible.
Donald provides everything you could need, and then some. He was very responsive and kind.
I’d highly recommend a stay here if you’re ISO a luxury night in the woods.

Beautiful part of West Virginia. The site was very secluded and had everything we could want. The yurt was HUGE! Plenty of room inside the tent. The outhouse was well maintained. The hot shower was great! Our dogs loved the freedom of not being on a leash.
