Firewood is available providing you use downfalls as kindling in the stone fire pit. A 8x20' deck and picnic table are 20 feet from the fire for stargazing. When the ferns are full grown they are 3 feet tall and everywhere. A 10 minute walk takes you through a dense pine forest with large rock formations and a nice creek with many gurgling fall areas. If there looks like a cave amongst the large rocks, then it probably is a bear den. There is a lot to do near by. Some note worthy locations : Cranberry Glade Lake (good for kayaking or fishing), Ohiopyle, 7 Springs, Fallingwater, Living Treasures, Caddie Shak, and Hidden Valley are all about 25 minutes away. Weekend Trip to Olde Tyme Cabins

The location was perfect! We felt secluded in our little camp and were able to hike up the hillside nearby. We loved the campfire with the lights strung around, and there were roasting sticks in one of the RV cubbies. The hot tub was amazing. We did get rained out of the hot tub, since there is no awning over it, but once the rain stopped, we were able to enjoy again. The master bed was comfortable, and the bunk beds have a curtain to keep lights out for later sleepers. We camped in mid-November and stayed warm and cozy the whole time. Our only complaint was the water. It never quite worked well enough to shower, and washing dishes was frustrating. We did let our hosts know, and they came quickly to work on it, which helped for a short while, but didn't last the duration.

Nice and quiet and secluded. Firewood was there. It was a cold night and was able to setup my tent no problem and park onsite. Directions to site were accurate. Note there is no phone service there, which was not an issue. Had the best night of sleep Ive had in years.

This is a great spot to tent camp under the trees, enjoy a campfire (with firewood supplied!), and stargaze at a relatively secluded spot. The hike down to the creek is beautiful! I would definitely return to this spot.

We had a girls camping weekend at the farm, and it was an absolute blast! There was plenty of open space to create our own setup, we were far enough away from the city and close enough to Ohio Pyle to go hiking Saturday morning. Had a wonderful experience at Laurel Highlands! Maggie is a super friendly and attentive host, and the space was perfect for our needs. It’s not as tucked away as some other campsites we’ve been to, but that did not dampen the experience at all. It’s a bit elevated from the surrounding area and it was really cool to see the fog roll into the lower elevations at night. Some of the space is on a slight incline but it did not affect our ability to find a good spot for our tents or placement of our cots. I will definitely be planning to return again!

Weekend Trip to Wild Goats Farm LLC

Julie was such a kind and accommodating host. If you love animals, you’ll love this farm. Wide open spaces, a giant fire pit, very low light pollution at night for amazing stargazing. The bathroom with toilet and deep wash basin connected to the barn brought so much convenience and comfort. I just can’t express how welcoming and friendly Julie and her husband Shannon were to me. 10/10, I plan on coming back!

Weekend Trip to All Ferns Most of the Time

The campsite was a little tricky to drive back to. Definitely a job for an SUV. That being said, once we pulled up it was nothing but fall leaves, green ferns and dense trees all the way around. Fire wood and a fire pit as promised. Perfect spot for our tent, camp chairs and the all important camp potty. We took our pup and had no issues whatsoever. It is a beautiful site. On Saturday we made our way to Ohiopyle for some hiking. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend this HipCamp.

We had a wonderful stay! Claire was super responsive and helpful leading up to the trip and with her directions the site was easy to find and setup! The space is lovely with beautiful open views of the night sky available and enough trees for shady spots throughout the day. We’re already talking about going back again sometime!

Wonderful Space removed from the road. Public Winery right across the street. Wildlife from wild turkey to Red tailed hawks were all around us. Hammock camping worked out well, but 4-6 Person tents also fit the deck quite well. I will be back!

Beautiful land with lots of ferns and hemlock. It was the perfect base camp for us to hike the Laurel highland trail and visit the nearby winery. We enjoyed the short hike down to the creek.

Weekend Trip to The Pointe at Riffle Farms

This was our second time staying at the farm, and it could not be better. The site was well cared for with no evidence of previous guests. We were able to set up my micro camper and a hammock without difficulty. The host came by and wished us well. Overall, an excellent experience

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The privacy is something you just can’t get at a state park, and our dog loved having the space to run around. We cooked a camp meal, relaxed by the fire, and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Part of us wants to keep this place a secret, but it’s too good not to share!

A one of a kind memorable experience to witness....his herd of bison being moved from one pasture to the nearby one! A stampede but much safer than Yellowstone! He even delivered to our campsite his home made bison sloppy joe and it was INCREDIBLE!

Weekend Trip to Paradise

Great Hosts, Great Communication! Stayed for 2 nights and the property is very clean and well kept. Plenty of fish in pond, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Perch, and Blue Gills. No cell service so you can unwind. Had a peddle boat for use, be we didn’t try it. Heard Coyotes in the evening. It was a wonderful weekend. Highly Recommend.

Their farm is extremely charming, and Julie and her husband were excellent hosts. The perfect spot to stop off for the night on my Motorcycle trip. Heads up if you are on a motorcycle, there is a dirt road involved but it’s not bad. 10/10
