There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! There are many empty fields and parking can happen almost anywhere. There are several places to park next to the cabin, even for larger RV's. There is no public transportation out here. Ordinary road map directions for getting here are very simple and straightforward. When you arrive at the property, just pull into the curving drive. You will see the cabin by itself to the left. Just park in front. Tieton is a rare place. The once dying town was re-discovered in the first decade of the new century by a couple friends on a mountain biking exploration. They got a vicious Goat's Head thorn in a tire and had to stop. They looked around at empty warehouses and closed stores and asked about it. The many small orchardists had been selling off their orchards to larger orchards and retiring. They saw opportunities in the empty buildings and had a vision. Artists, writers, poets, thinkers from all over the northwest have been visiting and moving here over the last 14 years, making this a unique town, with two hispanic restaurants, a gourmet restaurant, two convenience stores and a bakery. We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). Being able to communicate in five languages gave us the opportunity to interact with people from various cultures, try new foods, and learn about new history and experiences. We love seeing the world, with our favorite destinations being Mexico, Dubai, and Canada. Also, we love camping and decided to create a little private camping ground and farm lodge for people who wish to camp without huge expense. We try hard to make each guest’s stay wonderfully memorable. Owner will be close by to answer any questions but gives you a space and privacy. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun.
