This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have! We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. Goats, alpacas, chickens on site. Free range cats. Wineries next door. Brewery closeby. Close to town but peaceful and quiet. On the porch you will find retro cooler for your coke and beers (bring ice). Cabin equipped with a/c/heater unit, there is Wi-Fi available. We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20). Our Outdoor activities: -The cooler season brings fun-filled times of snow & amp, recreation for the whole family. On the porch you will find retro cooler for your coke and beers (bring ice). Cabin equipped with a/c/heater unit, there is Wi-Fi available. We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20). I really enjoyed the space. This was a halfway point to get to Great Prosser Balloon Festival by 6a Saturday morning. I picked up a Walmart order then straight to the Cathaus. (We didn’t see the cat). I pulled together a little dinner. Maria had some dishes and utensils but I’d brought my own. I went and sat on the covered area overlooking the apple orchard with my dog. The local winery next door had an evening concert going, so even had a little entertainment. The workers cabin was cute. Nothing too fancy or too shabby. The full size bed was cozy. I’m not a huge fan of foam form pillows but at 4a I discovered one of the bunk beds had a fluffy pillow. Too bad I didn’t check around 9p when I turned in. 🙂 My border collie did well. There was ample lighting once dark to see the path to the outhouse. Plenty of books to browse or read if any guest wants to fill downtime. I enjoyed the location and the basket of homemade goodies to purchase. I guess if I had to provide any feedback, it might be to add some fairy lights maybe around the “kitchen” area. Everyone’s opinion will be different. I tend to like just a little light at night, typically in another room. The cabin was pitch dark when lights were out. I had brought some usb fairy lights with me and honestly I should have left them behind as a gift. Maybe I’ll throw my extra string in the mail to Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope I have the opportunity to visit again.
