This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have! We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. I really enjoyed the space. This was a halfway point to get to Great Prosser Balloon Festival by 6a Saturday morning. I picked up a Walmart order then straight to the Cathaus. (We didn’t see the cat). I pulled together a little dinner. Maria had some dishes and utensils but I’d brought my own. I went and sat on the covered area overlooking the apple orchard with my dog. The local winery next door had an evening concert going, so even had a little entertainment. The workers cabin was cute. Nothing too fancy or too shabby. The full size bed was cozy. I’m not a huge fan of foam form pillows but at 4a I discovered one of the bunk beds had a fluffy pillow. Too bad I didn’t check around 9p when I turned in. 🙂 My border collie did well. There was ample lighting once dark to see the path to the outhouse. Plenty of books to browse or read if any guest wants to fill downtime. I enjoyed the location and the basket of homemade goodies to purchase. I guess if I had to provide any feedback, it might be to add some fairy lights maybe around the “kitchen” area. Everyone’s opinion will be different. I tend to like just a little light at night, typically in another room. The cabin was pitch dark when lights were out. I had brought some usb fairy lights with me and honestly I should have left them behind as a gift. Maybe I’ll throw my extra string in the mail to Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

This property was calm, clean and offered us privacy, nature, a place to cook, showers and a hot tub. The camping locations are spread out and we didn’t mind the quick stroll to reach the various amenities. It took us about little more than an hour to visit Mt. rainier and offered a view on the river as well. We hope to come again.

Weekend Trip to 1895 Farmhouse Charm

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property is beautiful and waking up to the sunrise over the hills was such a treat. The site looks out over a field, and mine had some shade plus a little pond nearby that made it feel extra peaceful. There was plenty of parking, which made things super easy. The property also had cornhole set up and a huge open yard that was perfect for tossing a frisbee or just hanging out. There’s an RV on the property for anyone who doesn’t want to tent camp, which is a nice option. My host, Hope, was wonderful, she even took the time to walk me around and show me the different sites. The location is quiet, not on a busy road, so it’s easy to relax and just enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back.
