Get ready to unwind on our historical farm that feels a world away but is just a 10-minute drive to downtown! Our cozy Bell Tent glamping site is perched to take full advantage of breathtaking sunsets and moonrises, rolling fields, and wildlife, giving you a front-row seat to nature’s show. A 2-minute drive (or 15 min walk) up the road, you’ll find hiking trails for all skill levels. The same distance down the road is our favorite winery offering tastings and a delightful ambiance for an evening out. They often have live music and food, but they welcome you to bring a charcuterie board of your own. Upon arrival, you’ll see a sign to pull in to our temporary parking beside the upper garden. A short (250 ft) walk to the site and you can settle in your camp. The site is equipped with a basic outdoor kitchen with a potable sink (fed directly from our healthy well), propane camp stove and basic utensils. We ask that you keep food put away in coolers or plastic container to avoid attracting pests. The outhouse is just 35 feet from the site. Our site is designed with eco-friendliness in mind and the outhouse is equipped with a basic composting toilet. Please use wood shavings after each toilet use and dispose of all non compostable items in the provided garbage can on deck. In the tent, you’ll find a luxurious and firm queen size bed and compact tables for storing your items. We provide a power bank of electricity for those that need a c-pap (tested and true), or charging devices. Stay warm all night with our propane heater, down comforter and optional heated blanket. Up for exploring? Just stick to the mowed pathways and enjoy the different settings. A hammock waits in the shade of the cherry plum tree at the bottom of the property. The old homestead site is a nice loop and easy/moderate hike perfect for kids to explore. Guests are welcome to forage fresh berries, herbs, veggies and eggs for their meals during their stay - say hello to our friendly flock of chickens and grab some eggs, just try your best not to let the girls out (It happens). My travel dog Thor and I had an exceptionally warm and cozy stop at this beautiful property en route to Golden BC. The field tent sits on a lovely deck overlooking a beautiful valley. With all the development in Spokane it is amazing that this beautiful semi urban area is so close to the city. We loved watching the sunset, deer in the field and stars at night. The tent and field kitchen are exceptionally well appointed. The bed is super comfy and the tent feels like a boutique hotel with all the hosts thoughtful touches. The host are lovely and great communicators. So glad they are sharing their little piece of Spokane valley paradise with people like me. We will be back with more time to relax, enjoy the tent, deck and the beautiful valley.

This stay is especially great for locals to have a little time “away” to slow down and be in nature. I cannot recommend enough - we plan to return for sure!

The Belle of Glenrose was a quaint and easy to access place to stay for the night. I enjoyed the warmly decorated inside of the yurt, as well as the deck with views of the valley. It was fun to see the chickens in the yard. Walking on the mowed trails was enjoyable, and having close proximity to the park trail up the road was an added bonus.

This was the perfect little getaway our anniversary! Everything was so thoughtfully set up from the cozy string lights around the tents interior to the rustic kitchen equipped with all the tools needed to make a delicious breakfast & coffee. This location is an escape to the countryside, but is still so close to lots of local restaurants and adventures. Will definitely be staying here again!

THIS is a gem of an experience that I personally will return to every year. Tucked into the countryside on the outskirts of Spokane, you get to experience the peace of nature with access to everything the city has to offer. The deck faces to the west, and the perch on the slope gives you uninhibited views across the vast sky. Every night I stayed here, I witnessed breathtaking sunsets, the beauty of the mountains, and stunning stargazing. I even witnessed a meteor shower, and loved as the moon rose from behind the grove. Every detail of the space has been intentionally and beautifully designed - from the coziness of the tent, to the comfortable bed, to the solar charger for devices, to the basket of games, to the outdoor kitchen that made cooking convenient. The compost toilet is well designed, and the fairy lights that guide the way at night are magical. I experienced a variety of weather - rain, high winds, calm summer nights - and the tent stayed completely dry and secure. During my stay, I enjoyed watching the deer, foraging the property for delicious ingredients, gathering eggs, listening to the coyotes at night. There’s a hidden glen at the end of the property with a hammock! When my kids fell asleep, I sat out on the deck watching the stars, listening to the crickets. The farm cat, London, is the most adorable, cuddly cat! There is plenty of space in the tent for kids to sleep on the floor or to set up an additional tent on the deck. I cannot wait to return!

This glamping experience was top notch! Angela's camp setup had everything needed: comfy bed in a beautifully arranged tent, gorgeous views looking out towards the west over her property, a place to cook and wash up as well as an outhouse! Angela was friendly and told us about a winery that was located about 2 minutes down the road from her property, which we definitely took advantage of. We heard minimal "farm noises" and an occasional car passing by, but nothing that was bothersome. The space felt extra magical at night with solar lights swaying in the trees and little mushrooms guiding the way down the path. We loved the whimsical as well as the practical touches of the Belle of Glenrose! We'll be back.

The top things that stood out during our stay were definitely the amazing sunset views from the deck, being able to walk down the field to the hammock tree where we picked plum cherries and having the kitchen station with plenty of cookware and utensils to make preparing our meals very easy. We had everything we needed, fresh farm eggs and a few veggies from the garden were an extra nice touch. Extra extra nice touch, was the sweetest boy, London, who is great company and quick to make friends. ✨

It was so unbelievably cozy!! I highly suggest getting there before dark as it can be pretty easy to miss the marker otherwise. I have zero complaints though; the area was gorgeous, the tent had a space heater keeping us nice and cozy, and the shower was great.

We had the pleasure of staying at this campground, and it was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning—so peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Rachel, who was incredibly friendly and helpful during our visit. Riverside State Park

Camp along the Spokane River and Little Spokane River, hike up to Nine Mile Recreation Area to see waterfalls, and enjoy outdoor excitement year-round in Riverside State Park. Summer offers paddle-sports, fishing, hiking, and rock-climbing, while wintertime is ideal for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Campers can enjoy one of the park’s three campgrounds, as well as equine-friendly camping for overnight and day use. Cabins inside the park are available by reservation, and include kitchens, showers, bunk beds, and heating.

Mount Spokane State Park

Visit Mount Spokane State Park to discover 100-miles of hiking trails through the forest and up the slopes of Selkirk Mountain Range. Wildflowers bloom in late spring and early summer, while snowmobiling, skiing, and snow-shoeing are popular winter activities. Pick up a Discover Pass for day-use vehicle access, or spend the night in one of Mount Spokane’s eight tent campsites with restroom and water access. The fire lookout at the summit of Quartz Mountain also offers a unique, rustic overnight experience inside the park.

Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge

Admire over 23,000 acres of protected natural beauty inside Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. Entrance is free, and there are public restrooms to ensure a comfortable visit. Then, wander through wetlands and pine forests, or book a tour for a personalized adventure through the refuge. Nearby camping areas with wifi, full hookups, and a self-service RV wash make it easy to head to Turnbull for a day trip. It’s open from 6am to 6pm from November to April, and until 9pm from May to October.

Summer is most popular for tent and RV camping near Spokane County, when highs are around 82°F. Alpine wildflower blooms in spring draw nature-lovers, while early fall is inviting with its mild temperatures.
