Private sites RV camping near Skykomish

Dave makes it super easy to book and get in and out. This is my second time staying there and will again. The space is plenty private and comfortable.

Even prettier than last time. Very quiet although Fourth of July Fireworks in town took place this week. Very natural mountain setting with tons of birds and mature trees. Love that the commute is easy and the host couldn’t be nicer. Booking again today. Close to Riverscene County park swimming hole.

Absolutely loved this campsite! Finally felt like we can be away with our own space from other campers. I loved having the gates to feel safer as well. Perfect for kiddos with many trails to explore.

Weekend Trip to Pine Peak - Dirt bike - ATV - RV

Agreed with all other reviewers! Private, well maintained, beautiful site with convenient amenities. Plus the kindest and the most friendly and accommodating host that truly wants his guests to have the best time. I’d love to come back again! 🌿

Campsite was perfect for our large group! Honey bucket was clean as well. Beautiful area and a fun drive in. Not ideal to drive in at night as its easy to miss a turn but during the day its pretty simple! Will def be back next time we do a big group camping trip!

This spot was ideal! Lots of space for tents & hangs, two solo stoves, clean port a potties, and gorgeous & easy water access. Check-in/out was easy and convenient.

2 nights at Mt. Index Sanctuary

Dave is an amazing host! The directions to the site were super easy to follow, and the site markings were really clear, so I couldn’t miss it. The camp sites were also pretty far apart, which gave me a lot of privacy. I’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend! Travis has made a beautiful spot with thoughtful amenities. We spent an afternoon by the river, had campfires in his solo cans, and were able to easily walk to the trailhead to visit bridal veil falls. He was attentive and thorough. Some rain. Some mosquitoes. Just bring what you need. And binoculars as it is truly a bird sanctuary.

1 night at The Landing at Index WA

Last time we stayed here was in 2018, and it's just as beautiful as we remembered! Brought our 4 year old and pup pack and everyone had a ball. Perfect spot for swimming, soaking up the beautiful surroundings and s'mores by the fire. It was nice seeing the continued improvements David has done while maintaining the private feel and pristine grounds. So grateful he shares this space with folks!

We had a great stay! Beautiful, clean site. Very private and quiet. Bathrooms and potable water, the river is a short walk down the road. We will definitely come back.

This was a great camp ground with lots of space to explore. Having running water and an outhouse was a big plus. And the views were beautiful!

We had an amazing stay! This is truly a spectacular campsite, we are already planning our next trip.

3 nights at The Landing at Index WA

We loved our stay! The site was large, felt private and was very clean. Dave gave us very clear and helpful directions to find the spot. We could hear dogs barking across the river and at the campsite next to us, but it wasn’t enough to ruin the trip or deter us from returning. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful spot by the river, quiet and peaceful. The campsite had everything that we needed, and David was very responsive when/if I had questions.

I was looking for a place that is away from the city, has cell service and also peaceful and private. This spot filled the bill pretty well. Dave was super responsive, answered pre-questions promptly, provided clear directions, maps and the first bundle of firewood. The primary picture kinda threw me off a bit, but make no mistake, the RV spot is great for a small RV or even a tent, it felt secluded and private with more space than the pictures seem to show. I will visit again.

This place was spectacular! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The small trails were perfect for our two cats and they felt very safe the whole time. We will absolutely be recommending it to our friends!

This place was perfect! Very big and private campsite and you could even get a view of the mountain. A beautiful river was only a short walk away. The bathrooms were well maintained. Would definitely return!

We had an unbelievable time. It was so quiet, SO clean and so private. We have two scared dogs and they both had a blast. We stayed at site 4, Eagle and it was an absolutely breathtaking view. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you!
