Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please. Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

Previously a Douglas Fir tree farm, the property is growing in diversity with Western Red Cedar, Big Leaf Maple, Black Cottonwood, and Red Alder trees. Two large ponds are a close walk away with a creek running throughout the property all the way to the Eglon beach and Puget Sound waterway. We’re a short drive or bike from the Kingston ferry and can be your launching point to the Olympic National Park, the Port Gamble Forest trail system and mountain bike ride park, our local beautiful beaches, and breweries! Created over 35 years ago by the Funstons, we (Will and Asha) became the stewards of this beautiful property in June 2016. We live on the property with Clancy, Uncle Larry, Tim and Pete and our friendly dog Pickle. 3 Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples.  Site 1 & 2 have a 2 Night minimum stay, Site 3 has a 1 Night minimum stay. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include:  cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites.  We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection. Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area. This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe. You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, 4.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center.

Almost 20 years ago, Shelley and Casey moved back to the beautiful Skagit Valley farm Shelley grew up on. Her family has farmed in the valley for five generations. Casey had studied permaculture in the San Juan Islands and they immediately began planting edible and useful plants throughout the property. They started a small Community Supported Agriculture program growing vegetables and fruit for several families. The property has evolved over time to include several living willow structures and a wonderful collection of unusual fruits creating what they hope is the feeling of a Wonderland. You will be surrounded by gorgeous edible landscaping and a stunning view of Mount Baker. Take a stroll through our gardens, graze on some fruit in season. A 10 minute walk or quick bike ride to the Skagit River offering great swimming in the warmer months. Our farm is surrounded by many flat scenic farm roads very popular for cyclists and photographers. There are two restaurants and several antique shops less than a mile away in the cute little town of Conway. The Conway Muse is a funky music venue and restaurant hosting great live music on weekends throughout the year. Feel free to pick organic fruits, vegetables and nuts to enjoy at your campsite or take home by donation.

The site was great, exactly what we needed visiting family in the area. It was overcast and drizzeling when we pulled in but the next morning the skies parted and what an amazing view of Mt. Baker and Hood Canal. We are at the longest recommended length for the site - a 30 ft, 5th wheel. Getting in was no problem. Getting out took some basic experience maneuvering the turn. All in all, it's a great site. Absolutely recommend.

What a beautiful campsite! I stayed here with my girlfriend and our pup for a single, rainy night. There was plenty of flat space for our 22-foot van and a large space that was "our own," which included a fire pit and table. The forested area in the back had a path that led to a creek, which, combined with the rain, created an amazing ambience. On the way out in the morning, we picked up some apple cider from the small "shop" at the entrance. It was delicious! Although I think it will be many years before I'm back in the area, I'll certainly be looking to stay here again when I am.

Site 4 was very private, but had the disadvantage of being a little too far away from the creek to hear the water (but it was very quiet, which was nice). Farm fresh eggs, cider, and propane fire pit were wonderful additions to our stay. We had the chance to hike Mt. Walker nearby, which was a beautiful, albeit steep. I hope we get the chance to return next summer!
