We offer various accommodations, so be sure to check out each listing for information. The new door code is 2215 Tucked away in the woods, you will forget you are less than a ten-minute drive from Portland and Beaverton. You will feel as if you are in a forest on Mount Hood, and yet, just minutes away, is all the best the area has to offer. From Northwest Portland with wonderful and trendy restaurants and eateries like Salt and Straw to Voodoo Donuts, the waterfront, and Washington Park. From the balcony, you may see golden and bald eagles, huge owls, woodpeckers, garden snakes, coyotes, deer, chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels. Here, it is a place of peace, of quietude. Nestled in a secluded setting amongst the tree-tops overlooking the Bull Run River Canyon, it's the perfect hideaway for couples seeking a romantic escape or BFFs looking for an adventurous getaway. Follow the path and bridge through the trees to your own little treetop oasis. This standalone space rests 30 feet above the forest floor and is perfect for reconnecting with nature and getting away from real-life. The space Outside: Through French Doors guests will find a stunning back deck perched 30 feet in the air, offering a birds-eye view. Relax with a glass of wine at the scenic bar-top overlooking the canyon while taking in the clean air, sounds of the river below and enjoying the star filled skies. A propane heater keeps you cozy and warm inside. The Treehouse is off-grid so there is no TV or Wi-fi to distract you from the wonderful surroundings. Limited Power is provided by rechargeable batteries. You will have about 7-8 hours of power per day. If you run several things at once, including the lights, the batteries will run down faster so use it sparingly. If you run out of batteries a lantern is provided as back up along with a couple headlights to help you navigate to the outhouse. NOTE: The only cook source is the bbq outside on the deck. We very much enjoyed staying on Barry's land. Was peaceful and secluded. We had a wonderful run in with assistant Peter, who told us about Steve, but Steve was elusive during our stay. The walk to the bathroom was a trek on uneven land yet I found it a fun challenge. Maybe in the future we will try out one of the other accommodations on his property. Thanks for the stay.

No surprises! Directions were specified so that it was easy enough to get there past dark. Hot tub was amazing both during the day and at night. Quiet with Mountain View slightly down the road. Overall it was an extremely pleasant weekend ☺️

What a fun/adventurous stay. This place was more than a treehouse. It had everything you needed for a quick rest during traveling or an over night with kids. It’s a magical foresty oasis. The kids loved the zip line, netted hammock and a little tv to wind down. The outdoor giant bathtub looked super fun but time didn’t allow for it. Comfortable, spacious, full bathroom, toaster oven, microwave and everything you need for a restful and enjoyable stay. It’s a must to stay here just to walk down the ramps in a jungle setting that lead up to this hidden gem.

This was one of my favorite places and will be visiting again! There was a slight texting miscommunication and Barry went above and beyond and gave us extra accommodations. The manger on site Peter was extremely kind and genuinely made our stay memorable! There was also this Elk that was on the property and made for a beautiful sight in the morning :)

2 nights at Romantic Forest Hide-a-Way

We had a great time at this little cabin. The view on one side had a view of construction equipment and there was some construction noise when we arrived but it stopped shortly after and did not resume. We had a great time going through all the tapes in the cabin- our favorite was Kitaro Astral Voyage. The grounds were nice to take a walk on, and found it extraordinarily easy to have a dog with us, the gate at the top of the stuff was perfect to keep him contained while in the hot tub and there was so much space for him to run around and get some energy out. The wood stove kept the cabin plenty warm- almost too warm much of the time so we had windows cracked and the fresh air was nice. The only part that was iffy to me was asking for us to do our own cleaning up, as well as leave a tip for the housekeeper, as well as a $100 cleaning fee and while this has become standard for most places unfortunately, it doesn’t sit well with me to ask for all 3 of those things, especially as the cabin wasn’t pristinely clean to begin with. The dust bunnies under the upstairs bed and splatters on the wall around the stove and the splatter on the bathroom door need attention, however we are not clean freaks and it wasn’t too much of a bother. Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend this spot. Next time we would probably go for the yurt as it is slightly more secluded without being in view of houses/construction equipment. Oh, and large people might struggle to get up the stairs. 5*

This site is very nice, tent camping in a treehouse! Nearly everything you need is inside the tent, and the bed is surprisingly comfy. The only inconvenience is that the bathroom is a bit of a walk, and you have to cross over a suspension bridge which can be a little scary at night or when it's raining. But the bathroom does have hot water and a shower!

awesome tree house. we arrived extremely late due to our airline delay and found big foots treehouse to be the best dark hour adventure for us and my grandson. woke with the sunrise to enjoy the beautiful view in the forest and listen to the relaxing creek down below. definitely would recommend for anyone who loves nature (and bigfoot)
