This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay.
The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming.
This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring.
If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind.

The yurt was a perfect way to winter camp and stay semi-warm in the process. The sauna was restorative and the showers had somewhat warm water (better than freezing!) Lots of woods/trails to explore. Saw some elk roaming on our last mornigng there. Will definitely be coming back when its warmer!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Astro-Dome
The Astro-dome was one of my favorite weekend trips in a long time. The hosts thought of every little thing to make our stay here so comfortable including slippers, robes, extra blankets, board games, twinkle lights, coffee and tea etc. The dome was clean and cozy. The hot tub was so relaxing. The trails right from the front door step to the creek were so fun. The hosts were very easy to communicate with as well. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Frankly speaking. this was one of the best camping trips we ever had. Booked it at a very last minute and upon getting there, while rather basic, the whole experience just blew us away. Such a peaceful and tranquil place! The mornings were surreal, no car noises, no airplanes, just birds and nothing else! Furthermore, to my surprise our kids were spending hours around sheep and never mentioned they were bored (WIFI is only available in around the outdoor kitchen) and we didn’t have a reception, which was great, a true gadget detox 🙂. Once again this was a great experience and we can’t wait to get back there!

Had a great time staying at the Yurt! The compostimg toilets were extra clean. The land and location was beautiful. We did the farm tour and got to see how they sustain themselves, which was awesome to see. Brought 2 toddlers who had fun running on the land and eating blueberries.

Had the best glamping trip in Pe Ell with my family—total private preserve with our own swimming hole and no crowds, just us and nature. Our dog loved roaming off-leash the whole weekend. It was super relaxing and honestly an ideal escape from the Labor Day chaos. Huge bonus: Marc (the host) was really responsive, answering questions fast and making sure we felt welcome the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

Den made spending my 43rd here pretty smooth and carefree. The wood burning sauna, which he built (!!!!!), was amazing and it was just nice being natural and free ^_^ he also built the yurt, which was cool. Loved the outdoor kitchen, too. Tons of berries to eat everywhere. Will try to visit again!

Was a nice place to stay after exploring the Skamokawa Vista Park. If you come here I would definitely take the time to go to the state park. Was peaceful at the Yurt. Toilet was nice and clean and had a nice space to wash hands. No complaints.

I loved the pure tranquility of this place. Really private BUT with all the amenities you would find within a house like fridge, fan, microwave, and more. There is a trail thats about 15 mins or from the tent that leads to a gem of river swimming area that was BEAUTIFUL. The shower and bathroom are right behind the outside of the tent and were nice too.

Super cute yurt! I love the environment. It was serene and beautiful. My 9 year old and I really enjoyed it. He had a blast playing the thongophone on the wall. I have no idea how he knew how to play it. But it was definitely a very peaceful rendition of Mary had a little lamb. Definitely bring your own bedding. It gets chilly at night without the stove on. The futons aren’t the most comfy. But definitely a great experience full of adventure!

Absolutely incredible spot. The pictures don’t do it justice but it’s surrounded by gorgeous Mountain views and rolling hills. Both Den and Max are super great guys and very helpful. The land feels peaceful and magical, we really didn’t want to leave. My partner and I can’t wait to come back!!

We stayed 2 nights, one in the yurt which was magical and whimsical and everything a girls trip or romantic getaway needs, Including a very nicely kept out house attached to the yurt. The yurts was furnished with floor pads of different thickness , with lots of pillows, throw blankets and a wood stove too.
The second night we used the bell tents. Some had floor pads, some did not. The red one was smaller, but had its own fire pit. The blue one was smaller as well, but was closer to on-site amenities on both sides.
A quick walk down the road and over a small bridge, Den had tge most enchanting outdoor kitchen. Pictures provided. It felt like several large families could all eat in the same space without being to evasive. The kitchen had almost all the amenities one could need and then some.
Directly around the corner from the outdoor kitchen was a wooded area with hammocks and lights which felt intimate and cozy. Not too far from that, was an old school sauna and a really well made but rustic outdoor shower.
Over all, Den's farm was rustic and charming and highly recommend a stay here.

This was a wonderful place to stay and stargaze! You have the best of both worlds -camping and facilities. Dogs can be off leash as there’s a huge huge meadow for them to play in.
No one else was around and it was beautiful.

Riverbend Preserve is absolutely magical. The meadow was such a peaceful, beautiful location to camp at. We got to witness the fog rolling in late evening and early morning, elk grazing, hawks hunting...it filled our hearts with joy to see wildlife just being wild and being able to just BE. There are paths to explore, a beautiful beach on the river, and we had everything we needed at the tent for a stress-free getaway. There's such diverse vegetation from one corner of the preserve to the other and we can't wait to return to see the changes as the preserve continues to flourish.

Den’s place is a great place to get away from the bustle of life. I stayed in the red yurt, which was large enough for me and my 55lb dog, and her dog bed. Our space was private and shaded in the trees.
The outdoor kitchen is super charming and has everything you need to cook up some food, charge your phone, or get some filtered water.
I chose this place hoping to avoid the sound of fireworks over the 4th, but unfortunately they neighbors off yonder didn’t mind risking a forest fire. So my poor dog and I had to pack up and leave early for our sanity.
Den was friendly and welcoming, along with some other folks there helping out.
I would definitely go back for another stay.
