1 night at B & B Flower Farm Coeur d’ Alene

We had a short stay due to a family emergency, but it was a wonderful visit! The view of the lake was a real treat. The campsite exceeded my expectations—it was private and peaceful, adding a nice quietness to the stay. There was even a great spot to sit and enjoy the views, complete with a table and comfortable chairs. I texted a question and made one call, and Brandee responded immediately every time. I had no trouble getting in or out with my 26-foot Class C camper. I’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to The Old Weber Farm

I work in travel healthcare and was in need of a last minute hookup for my RV. I stopped for gas in Colfax and being late in the day on July 4th weekend - all RV park offices were closed. Headed towards Tacoma / Enumclaw, after a long couple of days driving and dry camping, I found Matt's farm shortly before sunset. Very thankful I did, though I didn't get much rest as intended because I stayed up all night watching the stars and milky way. No regrets there. He and his wife were still outside working the farm when I rolled in, and made me feel welcomed and with good conversation. The farm and land were extremely beautiful, and my dog got to stretch his legs and meet a few animals he never had before. When leaving the next day, Matt made a route suggestion which avoided the congested interstate and turned out to be the most scenic / memorable part of my drive from South Louisiana to West Washington, and for that I am extra thankful! Good things always happen when two Matts meet - I will definitely be looking this place up if ever my travels bring me back around. 10/10 - Land, farm, stars, hospitality, and route suggestion

6 nights at Camp Coeur d'Alene

This was my first camping experience at Camp CDA. I hope to return again in the near future. The campground has lots of cozy-looking cabins, a reasonably-priced store with necessities, a laundry, swimming pool, showers, kayak and canoe rentals, dog park, tons of walking and hiking trails. Everything is clean and ship-shape, and the lake proper is just a stroll (or short kayak ride) away. While most of the camping spots were close together I still had privacy and also ended up meeting many fellow campers. (I think I may have made one new true friend!) But what made this the best campground ever were the wonderful employees. Mandy checked me in with so much care and kindness and gave me the whole rundown on how and where to access everything I needed. Jeff, the manager, was more than kind when I had big car problems that were surely a headache for him. He very well could have made me feel like crawling under a rock for all the trouble I caused with the mechanical problems, but he never did, not at all. To the contrary, he checked in on me and made sure all was well. That's real; you can't fake it. Most of all, I cannot thank Bailey enough for everything he did to make our stay truly great even though I broke my foot (compounding the car problems). It could have been a disaster and Bailey used his own time to take me to the urgent care. Bottom line: it is a beautiful, big and well-appointed and cared-for camp with genuinely nice folks running things. Thank you all!

Weekend Trip to The Old Weber Farm

The farm was magical, a little slice of heaven, and very private. The hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area so much, so we booked an extra night here. Our site was located right between the miniature horses and dwarf goats, it was a level site. My husband loved going out the door to pet the miniature horses at all times of the day. The host must of noticed and brought him grooming brushes and let him in the enclosure with Pickles and Cal. The farm had goats, miniature horses, cats, ducks, geese, cows, chickens, a larger roaster, and a large St. Bernard named Bernie that loved tummy rubs. We wish this was closer to home, we would come more often to get away and relax. Make sure to visit Spokane falls while in the area.

Nice hosts, prompt responses when messaged. Beautiful property. Hookups worked well. Listened to coyotes in the morning until the roosters started crowing. Very relaxing stay, everything well kept, definitely out of town and city noises. One site with 50 amp, another with 30 and field for dispersed camping. Animals include cows, horses, cats and chickens (with a beehive for good measure). Well worth the visit!

1 night at Camp Coeur d'Alene

Great experience. The site was level and clean. Near the bathrooms. Showers were clean and had hot water. Off leash dog area was a treat. We were just passing through, but I imagine this would be a great site for groups with kids. The pool was open. The road looked safe for biking. There were kayaks to rent and the water area looked safe for new kayakers.

Shopping is always fun in new communities and CdA has some really fun shops on Sherman. There is also a beautiful Kroc Center with all kinds of fun available.

Lake Roosevelt is a vast clean clear water lake that offers a variety of recreational opportunities including swimming, boating, incredible sight seeing as well as some excellent fishing. One of the great things about this lake is that it is a national recreation area. Which means once you are on the water you are allowed to pull up to any beach that you want to and enjoy whatever the day has for you. The lake is so big that even on busy weekends you should be able to find your own private beach. The lake is known for trout, walleye and smallmouth bass. Trout fishing can be really good from shore in the colder months. This property is private with easy access to the property and all of the local recreation opportunities. Full size rv and travel trailers up to 32 feet no problem, with extra vehicle and boat. Not a pull thru site, but plenty of room to position your stuff. Sorry, no four wheelers, side by sides etc. allowed on the property. Gas fires only. Up to ten guests. 50 Amp service and water. Must have your own toilet. Rv dump station five miles away for $5 dollars. This camping location is private but there are other properties around so campers must still be respectfull of others with no loud music no political flags or banners and animals must be leashed and not allowed to bark or whine uncontrolled.
