A 35 acre family farm on the North fork of the Skagit River outside of La Conner Washington. The Glamp Ground is located on a 1 acre overlook above the farm. Includes sleeping space for up to 4 guests, fire pit (outside of burn ban season), propane grill, stove, and picnic tables. Sleeping structures - convertible gazebo/wall tent with a queen size bed/daybed/couch, and hippie dome with foam rug and 3 foam filled wool blankets to build a second bed. Additional space for 4 extra guests with tents you provide. One van/camper permitted, we do not provide space for RV’s over 25 feet. No showers. Restroom facilities are a short walk from the Glamp Ground behind our farm stand. $50 Cleaning Fee – includes linens, pillows, and additional blankets for our two onsite structures. As well as propane and garbage removal of the onsite rubbish container. Guests are expected to leave the site as they found it with all garbage contained in the site bin and all farm stand items returned to the farm stand. Additional non-exclusive guest access to a 3 acre pond picnic field, walking paths, livestock barn, and our farm stand. There is also a boat launch at the end of the property operated by our neighbor with a $10 fee for use. Please bring your own paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and small motor boats if you would like to use the launch, there is no rented watercraft available. There is no swimming or lingering at the boat launch. Pets – Dogs on leash are welcome. Guests should understand that we raise sheep, cattle, pigs, and fowl on the property and any pet that becomes a nuisance could result in our having to end your visit without returned fees. It is important to note that we have a ranging farm dog, Stella, with access to the full property and she often finds her way to the Glamp Ground on her rounds. Stella is a sweetheart, (unless you are a racoon), she doesn’t start fights, but if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior it is best to reach out before booking. Stella is safe with children and respectful, but she has a job to do on the farm and her access is not limited.

We enjoyed our stay at the Glasshouse! The concept is really cool and we enjoyed the large space. Rochelle was responsive and quickly was able to find someone to fix the woodstove when we were having problems. If you are not confident in starting a fire I would definitely bring a fire starter. I am confident in my fire making skills, but we were not able to get a fire going, which made for a chilly stay. It feels relevant to note that the weather forecast was incredibly rainy so while the wood was dry, the humidity definitely had an effect (nobody's fault). Luckily there is a baseboard heater in the bedroom space as well as electric blankets so we were plenty warm at night! The dishwashing/handwashing station wasn't super obvious to us, and we hope in the future there will be a sink space to do these things.

This may be the best place we've stayed at. Jackie is an incredibly thoughtful host with excellent communication. The tent was clean and absolutely perfect. I was very pleased that she used non toxic products. The property is beautiful, the hot tub beside our tent was amazing, the pool was super cool and we had everything we needed for the best stay. She even shared s'mores kits with us for the fire. Jackie really thought of everything!! This is definitely a hidden gem! Will be booking again super soon! This time we will bring the kids. :)

Weekend Trip to Sundara West

I had the pleasure of staying in the glamping tent with my husband for our honeymoon. Our experience was everything we wished for and more. The tent was a perfect mix of cozy and romantic, with a king sized bed, heated mattress pads, and a gas fireplace. The tent is situated on a deck with a beautiful set up in front for sipping coffee in the morning or wine in the evenings. The gas grill made it easy to prepare a hot breakfast. The most exceptional touches were the private hot tub and shower behind the tent, and of course, the pool house which provided a tropical oasis in the quiet countryside. There were other guests staying in the cottage but we were able to smoothly coordinate pool times with Jackie so we could enjoy our vacation in solitude. Last but not least, our host, Jackie, was absolutely wonderful and one of the most responsive hosts I’ve worked with. It’s clear to see how much care and detail she puts into making each stay perfect. Like other reviewers have mentioned, Sundara West is now top of the list of places I will gladly return to.

Staying here was lovely. Very relaxing and beautiful. There is no running water, indoor toilet or shower, but there's a portapotty. The hosts were very kind. It's close to Langley which is cute and has good food! Definitely will be back.

Celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary in the Glamping tent. The property is beautiful with lovely well-tended gardens and the tent is private and peaceful. Our host, Jackie, was responsive and gracious. There is a pool here inside a solarium adjacent to the tent that is just fantastic. We were able to reserve private time slots so had the pool to ourselves as much as we wanted. Out the back of the tent is a private outdoor shower and a hot tub. We enjoyed our little getaway so much and definitely plan to return. Thank you Jackie for sharing your camp with us!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Jackie was a responsive and caring hostess. Our accomodation was perfect. This is the first time we've stayed in a glamping tent. The bed was super comfortable and a heated blanket underneath made our nights really cozy and warm. We loved the hot tub out the back of our tent and wonderful hot outdoor shower. Tips for snagging a campsite

You can reserve all of the park’s 172 tent sites, 134 partial-hookup sites, and five hiker/biker sites online.
Deception Pass is a popular state park. Reservations should be made in advance, especially for summer weekends. All campsites can be reserved online, up to nine months in advance of the arrival date.
The Ben Ure Cabin on Ben Ure Island is accessible only by kayak or rowboat, and guests must bring their own water.

When to go

Deception Pass State Park is open year-round. In the Coastal Northwest’s relatively mild climate, there’s never a bad time to visit. Summers, especially on weekends and holidays, are very busy here. But come in the shoulder season—in the spring or early summer, before July 4—or early fall, after Memorial Day, and you’re more likely to find seclusion. Weekdays are generally a better bet, too.

Know before you go

You can rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards at the Bowman Bay concession stand from April through September.
Visitors will need to display a day-use or annual Discover Pass. The park has automated pay stations dispensing both, along with boat launch permits.
The park has 1.2 miles of ADA hiking trails, in addition to three miles of bike trails, six miles of horse trails, and 38 miles of hiking trails.
