10 acre homestead on the outskirts of downtown North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Breathtaking view of the mountain, peaceful pastures, amazing wildlife. Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. During the spring and summer there are (sometimes) cows, (always) cats, chickens, ducks, and three working dogs on the property. Hollow Tree Campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). Jake's Corner is more open and located on the westside of the pasture. For those wanting hookups to a water hose or electricty, Barn Camp is an excellent option. Farm 108 is a lovely place to get away from the hustle and enjoy the outdoors, while still being within walking distance of great eateries and activities. Hope to see you soon!

Offering a lovely, personal campsite area surrounded by beautiful trees nestled in the back of a ranch with horses (and chickens) just on the outskirts of the small, charming town of Yelm. (In some of the pictures you will see the horses in the area of the camp, but whenever there are campers they will not be turned out there.) There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience.
We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels.
1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino.
There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual).
(Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.)
**Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings.
Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting.
As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival.

"Osborne's Den" (tiny A-Frame Cabin) and "The Moose Site" (a full hook up RV/Camp site) both nestled on this quaint 1/2 acre lot (they rent separately... not together). Just minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park.
"Osborne's Den" has basic power inside the building and a water spigot just outside. There is a queen sized bed (you bring your own bedding).
There is a shared Honeybucket Toilet just across the driveway. You will see the other details in the "site listing"
"The Moose" is a level, graveled RV/Camping site. Water and 30 AMP and 20 AMP power and sewer connection.

We are located on a very private property (the only houses you will see are across the inlet) surrounded by nature but only about 10 minutes from downtown Olympia and 5 minutes from I-5 and Lacey.
The property is situated on the very south end of Henderson Inlet. We are on the tide flats so twice a day (at high tide) we have the opportunity to explore on the water in canoes and kayaks. The property is spread over 16 acres and is comprised of two large fields (one in front of our home and the other is a smaller meadow off to the side (hidden meadow) and forest land. There is tons of space for playing, exploring and tiring out your kids and pups!
Wildlife is abound with eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, shore birds and a variety of forest birds make this place their home. We are also frequented by the local deer who wonder through and say hi.
About the campground:
The campground is located in the far northeast corner of the property on the edge of the forest and meadow. In the common areas you will find the porta potty, shower and sink. There is also a supply closet that has the yard games and extra supplies. There is a hot tub situated right on the edge of the forest with peek-a-boo views of the inlet. You will also find garbage and recycling bins.
There are trails throughout the forest along the 600 feet of water (tide) front. Along the trails you will find several different benches, seats and swings to relax and enjoy nature from. There are also fairies and gnomes who have been sighted in the forest. If you look closely, you might spot one too! We ware, if you touch a fairy or gnome they do lose their magical powers so please respect the mystical creatures. 😊
The sites are about 500 feet from our house and offer great privacy. You may see us throughout the day and evening coming and going from the campground, working on the property or playing with the kids on the trails!

The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. Dogs bark because they are dogs, but when you go deep into the forest you can barely hear the road or the dogs. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek.
The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer.
For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill.

Everyone who sees it remarks that this forest is beautiful. It has a main trail and many small pathways between ferns and hillocks. In an effort to preserve and protect this wild habitat, we have already planted 200 + Western Red Cedars, Douglas Firs, salal, snowberry, native current, and other native vegetation.
This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles.
A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site.
A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on.
Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter.
It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground!
Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails.
We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it!
Please remember to bring an extension cord to access power.
There are fire pits. When possible firewood is provided gratis in the woodshed. There are bundles of wood for sale at the Ace Hardware store in Carnation.

Deciduous forest with Big Leaf Maple and Alder, the woods are hemlock, Western red cedar, and Douglas Fir trees, with a creek on site, and Ames Lake nearby.
Bird watchers may spot rare species at this pristine natural location, 15 minutes from Redmond's city center. Many types of these birds - pied-billed Grebes, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Red-tailed Hawks, accipiters, Killdeer, woodpeckers, wrens, blackbirds, some ducks, chickadees, and other rare species are resident here.
During spring and summer, warblers, rails, American Bittern, and sparrows can be quite common. Wintertime brings geese, many types of ducks, gulls, swans, Northern Shrikes, Peregrine Falcons, and some Rough-legged Hawks.
This location is near U.S. National Forest extending more than 140 miles along the western slopes of the Cascade Range from the Canada–US border to the northern boundary of Mount Rainier National Park.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Traci and Khris's property. All the communications after we made the reservation were clear and directions and instructions simple. Traci was there to check us in and help get set up. The property is beautiful and quiet with horses and chickens nearby. We stayed there in our travel trailer while doing a kitchen remodel nearby but look forward to going back when we can relax under the beautiful trees around the firepit! Definitely recommend!!

This place has such a great vibe! All of the sites are in view of each other but not intrusively so. There was a definite sense of community, even with the usual comings and going of a campsite. Jake and Molly are very friendly and responsive. It was nice to have a shower available, and the little building housing it is cute and well planned. The location is great for trips into downtown Olympia but far enough away to feel immersed in nature.

Me and my partner went and had the best time the host were wonderful to stop by when we got there to make sure we were settled in OK and otherwise it was a quiet night and we didn’t realize that we needed mosquito spray. They had central oil for the tiki torches that they provided for us it was really great. I definitely want to go back for a longer stay

Jake and Molly's "Hidden Meadows" is well designed and secluded. I didn't use the shower or the hot tub but would have liked to. I was visiting family in the area so had access to some amenities elsewhere. However some family came for one night and we had a very nice time together. Walking down the little trails along the inlet was one of our favorite things to do! Thank you!

We are so grateful to Molly and Jake for creating such a wonderful campsite! Our group of 40 people, including toddlers, had the best experience here. The place is kept beautifully natural, yet it has the essentials that make a big difference—clean toilets and a shower (which was especially important for us with little ones).
The grounds are well cared for and preserved in a way that respects nature. We especially appreciated Jake and Molly’s thoughtfulness in providing biodegradable soap so that we could enjoy the shower without harming the environment.
The common area was another highlight—perfectly designed for gathering together, sharing meals, and simply enjoying each other’s company. And of course, the hot tub was a huge hit—the kids especially loved it, and it made the whole stay even more relaxing and fun.
Thank you, Molly and Jake, for making this such a welcoming, thoughtful, and environmentally conscious place. We would gladly come back and recommend it to anyone who loves nature but also values comfort!

This spot was a nice place to take a break before heading into Paradise! Everything was good and Jayson was very responsive. The site is hidden away in a little corner so it was a little tough to find. Plus some of the branches of the trees coming in are a bit low, so watch out for that.

Molly and Jake’s place is exactly that a hidden retreat! Great location for getting away for a few days and exploring other areas of Puget sound that we have not. Very close to downtown area of Olympia went to the farmers market. Did some bakeries, bike riding on the Chehalis Western Trail, several different hikes and just chilling at the hidden retreat. We will recommend to all of our friends and hope to come back. All the sites have an abundance of privacy and love the shower sink situation for everyone. Thanks again Molly and Jake. We appreciate your hospitality!

We had an amazing stay! The site was just as described, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. We rented the whole space for a youth camp, and it was perfect, lots of room to spread out tents, plenty of lighting, a fire pit, and access to electricity. The deck site made the best spot for cooking and gathering together. They also brought in an extra porta-potty, and the sink and shower setup onsite was a great option. Such a beautiful, private spot with thoughtful hosts, we’re so thankful we found it and can’t wait to come back!

This is a great campsite! It's so peaceful and quiet, with deer running through and birds chirping. The sites are lovely, and you have everything you need - hot shower, water, and even a hot tub! The site is easy to get to but feels far away from it all. I definitely recommend this place!

I really enjoyed The Moose campsite. Great utilities, reasonably clean porta potty. Very quiet - it's a good distance from the Mt Rainier highway, and the neighborhood shuts down between 9 30 and 10 pm so it's very quiet. Only minutes from Mt Rainier National Park and trails in the Forest Service lands.

I was testing out my car camping set up and visiting nearby family and this site was perfect! I visited in mid August and enjoyed the spacious campsite. The camp was quiet, had nearby trails along the water to walk my pup, and was 15 minutes to Olympia. The hosts were attentive and friendly. Amenities were sufficient— had a porta john as well as a shower, hot tub (forgot my suit), and firewood for purchase. The cell reception for ATT was poor—just fyi. Would recommend and will be back! Thanks Jake and camp pup Wilma for a great stay!
