(Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire). Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please. Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

Depending on the season you may even find a fridge stocked with farm fresh eggs. The property that the campsite is located on is also fully gated so you won't have to worry about security and your privacy. Unless you need something you'll be fully left alone and safe. PLEASE note that Vintage Camping Trailers are petite. The walking path from the front to the back of the trailer is narrow. The bed is a FULL size mattress. That being said, we did spring for a very tall mattress so once you're in the bed you will be as comfy as possible. This camping experience is best for those who are also petite. Tall travelers may find the height of the inside shower and the entire camper a bit cramped. Additionally, the bed can most definitely fit two sleepers but please ensure you comfortably fit on a full size mattress before you commit. Remember, the spirit of this stay is luxury camping, but it's still camping.

Even with all the little enclave of buildings, The Purple Cottage retains a private feel all to itself, with reliable Wi-Fi available at the cottage. . It is located in a quiet little neighborhood, about 6 miles from Langley & 6 miles from Freeland.. Private beach access is across the road and a 15 minute walk up the street, where you can beach comb & explore the shoreline out at our little point. The private deck off the side of the Purple Cottage offers views of the gardens & flora, and has a little gas barbecue. There is also a delightful hot tub on the deck, which is a wonderful feature. This land has passed through many families but was first "managed" by Salish Indians who burned the prairie and harvested native plants for food, medicine, clothing, charms and more for 10,000 years. When European settlers arrived in the 1850s, burning the prairie all but ceased and that, along with the introduction of many new exotic species of animals, crop plants and weeds, began the degradation of the landscape. Over time our site was used to graze sheep and then raise pheasants (from 1944-1999). It was slated for housing development but several citizens rose up and prevented that from happening. Now the Pacific Rim Institute, a private nonprofit organization is the steward of this precious jewel of central Whidbey and the Pacific Northwest. We have a five-acre remnant prairie with over 80 species of native plants - critical to the restoration of degraded lands throughout the Salish Sea region. We have over two miles of walking trails for you. They traverse our prairie, savannas and forests. The land is full of color when the native wildflowers bloom from early spring through early autumn. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. PLEASE note that Vintage Camping Trailers are petite. The walking path from the front to the back of the trailer is narrow. The bed is a FULL size mattress. That being said, we did spring for a very tall mattress so once you're in the bed you will be as comfy as possible. This camping experience is best for those who are also petite. Tall travelers may find the height of the inside shower and the entire camper a bit cramped. Additionally, the bed can most definitely fit two sleepers but please ensure you comfortably fit on a full size mattress before you commit. Great spot on the middle of the island. Quiet and peaceful. No power but clean and dry. Fire pit offered a great spot for an evening campfire. Very clean, cots for sleeping. Bring headlamps. Running water, shower and toilet clean and about 60 - 80 yds from the cabin. Great host and spot!

This was such a lovely and well taken care of campground. The little gazebo that has been built there was wonderful and the property was beautiful, with a little walking trails and a nice river right next to the campsite. There is plenty of space for pets to roam around and the campsite feels nice and secluded. We would definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Glasshouse! The concept is really cool and we enjoyed the large space. Rochelle was responsive and quickly was able to find someone to fix the woodstove when we were having problems. If you are not confident in starting a fire I would definitely bring a fire starter. I am confident in my fire making skills, but we were not able to get a fire going, which made for a chilly stay. It feels relevant to note that the weather forecast was incredibly rainy so while the wood was dry, the humidity definitely had an effect (nobody's fault). Luckily there is a baseboard heater in the bedroom space as well as electric blankets so we were plenty warm at night! The dishwashing/handwashing station wasn't super obvious to us, and we hope in the future there will be a sink space to do these things.

We stayed for 2 nights to explore the surrounding area in Carnation, Fall City, and Snoqualmie and this site was perfect. Only 1 RV spot so you don't have any other campers around. Adorable goats, sheep, and pig next to the RV site so we were able to watch them while eating breakfast. Amazing sunrises and beautiful view of the mountains and morning fog. Quiet and serene. Such a beautiful cabin, we stayed there with our in laws in the fall and it was so cozy. The view is stunning and so much space for our dogs to run around and play! My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home. The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.
