We still have the original camp (site 1 ) this Site CAMPERS should be aware that Washington Fish and Wildlife public access is directly next to the Camp site 1 Most of the time this is a great place to camp Long Weekends this site may not be. You will enjoy this experience. Great trout fishing in the summer and salmon fishing in the fall . Slow water pool for the kids and adults swimming .Camp site 1 and 2 are below our home with very good privacy and with over 1500 ft of river access. Great place for Kayak adventures, Turn around ?

What a great space! It sits right next to the river with plenty of privacy and space for tents. The river had great fishing we caught some beautiful trout. There’s a bit of a hill you’ll need to haul your stuff down but we’ll totally visit again, just with a cart to bring stuff up and down. And bring bigger rods next time for the massive salmon spawning!

We couldn't reach the site before sunset as planned, and it had gotten dark by the time we reached. But Mr. Donald was really thoughtful and helped us bring all the stuff down to the campsite and set up comfortably. The stars were amazing and we could even catch a glimpse of a few shooting stars after midnight. All of us, especially the kids, had fun exploring and playing in the river. Great place!

Had an amazing time, plenty of space + parking for our group of 15 and we were able to pitch a few on the river bed as well. Port a potty was clean and stocked with TP. The public access is adjacent to the spot as advertised, but didn’t bother us as reviews were accurate and everyone clears out by nightfall. Swimming in the river was an absolute delight, current wasn’t too strong and fun to see some fish jumping in/out of the water. There’s also ample shade at the main site with plenty of tree cover. The host gave accurate directions and our first camper was able to find it no problem. It’s an off-grid, beautiful place and we’re grateful for Don sharing his property. We will be back!

This place is spectacular! Stayed there Tuesday thru Friday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Had a few people on the beach during the day. The beach closes at dusk leaving you all alone and secluded. Donald is a gracious host who stopped by the second day to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back when in the area

This venue was absolutely perfect for our family reunion! The host was a phenomenal communicator, helped us with logistics to make everything went smoothly, and was a pleasure to interact with. My family (which is 30 people of all ages and demographics) all agree that we would love to go back for future events. Ample room for people to have privacy, and others that want to be in the mix, to be close to the action. Amazing views, serene environment, and an escape from daily life!

Lower camp is a treasure! We highly recommend camping here. Our stay was from Tuesday thru Friday and it was quiet nearly the entire time. Lower camp is adjacent to a public access beach, but during our entire stay there were only a handful of day adventurers/fisherman. We had plenty of space for our group of 9. We set up 3 tents split between main camp and one tent down at the river's edge. Donald was an incredibly gracious host and ensured our stay was as perfect as his land. We highly recommend staying here and we are already planning our return for next year!

Camp 2 was a perfect spot four our group of 8. It was quiet and had great access to a mellow river which was perfect for us as we had 4 small kids who loved splashing around a skipping rocks. Donald was a great host and was very responsive to all of my questions. We got a little lost on the property, but he helped us find our spot and then we were all set. You will need to carry your gear down a small hill, so a wagon would be helpful to minimize trips. You can see the house from the site, but it didn’t feel intrusive. Overall we had a great time and would recommend it, especially if you’re traveling with little adventurers. Thanks for sharing the little piece of serene wilderness with us.

Cannot say enough good things about Don and this land! It is absolutely gorgeous, spacious and so serene. We got a little lost coming in and Don quickly rode down and helped us get set up. He was very accommodating and chill, exactly the kind of host you want! He checked on us but left us to be fully unplugged and relaxed. You couldn’t possibly be closer to the river, and it was as peaceful as you can imagine. The public access next door didn’t bother us, but I’m sure we made enough noise of our own :) and most importantly, port a potty had obviously been cleaned just before we arrived, which was seriously appreciated. Thanks Don!! We will absolutely be back.

We had a great time at this campsite! The site was large - we fit three large tents and it could probably fit one or two more. The portapotty was very clean and convenient. Don met us at the campsite when we arrived and was very welcoming. The river is right in front of the campsite, beautiful clear water with a gorgeous view. Would definitely recommend this spot for camping and swimming!

I had a wonderful time with out family outing. We stayed at lower camp and had multiple families there with some coming and going through out the weekend. Donald was amazing about helping with all my updates of my reservations and continuing changes. He came to meet us the first day right away and dropped off wood in a trailer for 25 dollars which saved us a lot of time and effort haha. The weather was prefect to be in the beach although it is rocky once in the water (yes it’s cold) the kids didn’t seem to mind. There was wildlife including fish the kids had a blast discovering. I would highly recommend this location especially if you have a large group your planning a camping trip with and want a great river view/place to hang out in peace.
