This cabin also sits just up the road from the Mountain Lake Club where you will find live music, good food, beach lake access, and plenty of summer fun!

With pets
I wanted to find a secluded spot to rest & spend some time in nature with my dog Olivia. This cabin was lovely with a large rocky backyard that my dog loved climbing around. The location was ideal with lots of trails & parks within a short drive. The cabin has lots of big windows that help take in the excellent view of the mountains. We spent time on the deck and saw deer crossing through the backyard, and later we saw more crossing the front yard. It was very quiet and peaceful. The shower was awesome too. I used the steam shower a few times but the shower alone is really nice & great for relaxing after a hike on a chilly day! We would love to come back to see the area in the warmer months. Thank you Brigid & TJ!

Weekend Trip to Circe The Airstream
We had such a wonderful stay at the Circe! It was such a lovely getaway for slow mornings, sipping on coffee, reading and enjoying the views. Our favorite thing to do was cook dinner and eat outside under the stars. Mark was a great host and Colonial Beach is just 4 minutes away. We will definitely be back again!

Weekend Trip to Historic Cottage Retreat-IG Worthy
We very much enjoyed our stay at Robin's cottage. Very cozy with fun decor. We didn't use the outside amenities but there is a large deck with a giant table, games, inflatable hot tub and small pool which would be fun during the summer (it was a bit too chilly for us). Stores are not far away, Boonsboro is small but cute with a very nice coffee shop and Nora Robert's bookstore and you are very close to Antietam, wineries and breweries. there is no dining table (a small bar counter) and small fridge so a longer stay with more than 2 people would need some planning. Host responded quickly and though you are right behind the main house it was nice and quiet.

We never used the steam shower but the house was cozy, TVs in the bedroom with lots of options for kids. Bedding was soft and comfy. Loved the back porch overlooking the hill where you can watch a beautiful sunset. Fire pit was a hit as well! We tried to pitch a tent for the kids but the house is on a pretty sloped hill so it didn’t turn out as planned.

Weekend Trip to Circe The Airstream
Cozy, clean and classic experience! Late February early March is an extremely quiet and cozy experience in the Circe airstream with likely only a visit from wild birds. I highly recommend a visit to the airstream of Virginia to enjoy your time fully in a 1984 airstream and appreciate the level of quality from this company. Mark was a super super host and thanks to his accommodations our weekend turned into some great memories. I sincerely appreciated the communication and local suggestions to open restaurants, breweries, and sunset opportunities less than 5 miles away. Mark‘s place really sets the stage for exploring a beautiful part of Virginia even further if you have more than two days or a weekend.

Had an amazing weekend at the Silo house! Enjoyed a campfire with smores at night. Played some records and boardgames. Place was clean and exactly as pictured. No long laundry list of chores to check out was a nice plus! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
