The cottage has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and freshly clean sheets, full bathroom, tiled walk-in shower, kitchen with refrigerator, stove top oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, toaster, and four complete setting of plates glasses, cups and silver flatware, and all cooking utensils and pots and pans. Great natural lighting in every room as well as french doors throughout. The expansive front porch has two ceiling fans and wicker furniture for sitting. The Property: Miles of walking trails in the back with creeks that run adjacent to our mineral springs throughout our property. Say hello to our animals-We are home to many exotic chickens, ducks, Pygmy goats, dairy goats, mini pigs, horses and many Great Pyrenees. Guest access: Free parking right beside the unit. If you require consistent internet access -please be aware-our internet can be spotty/dependent upon weather conditions that are outside of our control-we are in a rural area and we love it! There is a plaque on the bedside table where the server name and password are written. The thermostat is located behind the bedroom door. It’s a normal, modern Carrier HVAC unit installed Oct. 2022; it’s easy to adjust temperature up or down using the two arrow buttons. We are conveniently located just about 5 miles from the I-64 and I-95 interchange in Rocky Mount. We are also just under one hour from Raleigh and about 30 minutes from Medoc Mountain State Park. We have horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats, and dogs here as well as a small orchard and some gardens. There are 20 wooded acres with a trail through them and a pond to fish in right beside the campsite. Dogs are welcome but they must be kept on leash unless we give permission to use one of our empty pastures for exercise. Bring your cowboy boots and sign up for an introductory horseback riding lesson! Each site has a gravel pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Port-a-potty, sink/hose water, and electrical receptacles are available on-site as well. Please understand that this is a working farm with free-range chickens, pets, and livestock that sometimes make noise. We are also located off a well-traveled country road so you may hear car/road noise.

At the end of a long and winding gravel driveway, you will find the quiet oasis of Stillbrook Farm. We are located in the sleepy community of ‘Winterpock’ which located in Western Chesterfield County, VA. Winterpock is steeped in history and exudes both quiet and therapeutic energy. In the 1800’s it was the center of a thriving community fueled by the nearby Clover Hill coal mines and linked by railroad to Richmond and beyond. We are 10 minutes to Pocahontas State Park, 30 minutes to RVA, and a little over 60 minutes to Charlottesville, Stillbrook is a small horse farm, with twelve horses that you will find frolicking pastures throughout the property. Our farm is the perfect mix of fields, forest, and streams. Bordered on two sides by the Surline Branch… one of our favorite activities is wading through the broom and finding where it meets the Winterpock Creek. We have several tent sites located throughout the property depending on what you are looking for. Most are located near the creek. Camp fires are permitted inside the existing fire rings with all wood and kindling provided. We have beautiful two-story, 10-stall horse barn with a bathroom (sink/toilet), Keurig with locally sourced coffee, refrigerator, and large room over our barn in case of inclement weather. While here, you will hear owls, Whippoorwills, quail, coyotes, horses, our friendly chickens, and neighbor cows. Come, be our guest!
