The last 4 years of hosting have been an adventure! We’ve met many guests, listened to suggestions, and often worked all night on property improvements. We are grateful for the opportunity to introduce country life and the Shenandoah Valley to travelers from around the world. We love animals, planting gardens, preserving quality food, and hiking in both of the world-famous national parks here.
We built an all-season full capacity hot shower bathhouse with flush toilet, A-frame cabin, bigger electrical service, and wider road entrance for 30ft RVs, and Wi-Fi.
We are located 45 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park. If you are a hiker or outdoor adventure seeker, or just want to experience local culture and history, please reach out to us and we will help you plan your trip. Weekend Trip to 4Trees: 10 min to Old Rag
This Hipcamp isn’t camping or even glamping really. It’s a very nice house in a fairly remote location convenient to several large cities. The home is well appointed. Birdwatching and stargazing were great. It was extremely quiet and peaceful, we barely heard any cars or humans during our stay.

What an amazing little treat for my Kiddos 15th Bday! Instead of material things, she was gifted memories of fireflys, mountain views, hummingbirds, rabbits, butterflys, and tons of gorgeous baby deer! NO HUNTING!!! We saw more stars than Ive ever seen in America! The house was perfectly crafted to meet every need! Beds were SO comfy! Views in every room! Kitchen had everything and then some! Magical trip! Thank you!!!

Weekend Trip to Traveler's Meadow
This was a wonderful stay for us. We got in pretty late and the hosts were super kind and receptive and helped us have a very easy check-in. The place itself is so cute and comfy, it has little LED lights that change color, and is fully stocked with cooking equipment which we used to make some breakfast :). The bathhouse was great and very modern, and we were very comfortable!

It’s a beautiful property and the a-frame had all the amenities I could want! It was very comfortable and relaxing. It’s an easy 20-minute drive to Harrisonburg where there are plenty of good dining options. Communication with the hosts was super easy. I have already recommended this property to several of my friends.

Loved the cabin! It has everything you need to enjoy a night outdoors! The cabin had a nice bed with bedding, towels, a mini fridge, and some other small appliances. Bathhouse with a shower is close to the cabin. If you're looking for food in the area I recommend Beards and Broads, it's about 10 minutes away!

Loved staying at 4Trees. A beautiful sun filled house with forest and quiet surroundings. So many hikes nearby but also enough space to hang out and be cozy during a snowy day. The showers, kitchen, and all amenities were excellent! Hope to come back!

We loved the cabin! It was more than what we were hoping! Fully prepared and clean, the interior was modern yet cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a really enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it!
