This was an introduction to camping for our six year old, and he loved it! The yurt and campsite came with everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors while having creature comforts, and the communal trailer was nice to have to check-in with family. We didn’t need anything, but the camp store was also stocked with bare essentials in the event you leave something behind. The site was very private, and Beau, Leah, and the other guests were friendly. We hope to make it back to Beaverfalls again!

It was a perfect spot. You literally are sleeping on top of a waterfall. You can hear it at night with and without the windows open. perfect spot for a campfire and grilling food which has a grate. They even have a community space that has an oven and things too if you prefer to cook that way, I hung twinkle lights all over the place to give it a cute feel and also the community space they offer free coffee and they also have snacks and other items to purchase. The cave was neat to explore on the property! You can even sit at the bottom of the waterfall and have a picnic or just hang out, you can even swim in it too! At the cabin they even made a trail directly to it for those that stay in this cabin. The space was perfect at the cabin for my dog. I had him on a 20 foot lead and worked out perfect.

I loved my weekend here at Beaverdam falls! It was so beautiful and lots of nice walking trails too. Beau also had everything we needed already at our campsite. Will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Beaverdam Falls
My wife and i stayed at the Beaverdam Falls - Cattails. Their place was amazing. You can hike, swim, and kayak -- all in one place. It is our 1st time camping and we got a great time. If you want to get out of the busy city life for some time, stay at Beaverdam falls.
Suggestions: if you need CPAP to sleep, get a portable battery (there's no electricity in the cattails camp area) . Bring blankets even during summer, it gets cold at night and early morning.

I loved the location of our site, right above the falls. The roar of the falls was so peaceful! Wished there was a fan of some sort as it did get stuffy and humid at night.

Glamping on Beau’s land was magical! My mom and I enjoyed the peaceful nature and sounds of the falls. Beau was very accommodating and responsive, and the cabin/communal space had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here!

The descriptions don’t do it justice. The property is gorgeous and we feel very lucky Beau and family have chosen to share this gem with the public. We stayed at Top of the Rocks cabin and the views were epic! Going to bed and waking up to the sound of the waterfall was beautiful as well. Totally worth the trip.

This trip was so amazing! I would recommend to anyone to book any of the places you won’t regret it! Everything was provided all we had to bring was food, clothes, and linens! We loved not having any service it was the best but if we needed it, it was available at the front! It was so peaceful and private!

We loved staying at The Cattails! The site is more surrounded by woods than the others on the property which we especially liked, and it had a beautiful scenic view of the wetlands and the mountains behind it. We also loved hearing all of the surrounding wildlife throughout the day including many kinds of birds, geese, and frogs at night. The falls nearby were beautiful and the cave was really cool to peek into. The kayaks were a lot of fun too! At night we cooked over the fire under the many beautiful stars. The general location was great too as it wasn't far from multiple mountain hikes and less than two hours from breweries, Green Bank Observatory, and The Blue Ridge Tunnel. While it did rain a little bit during our stay, the tent was very sturdy and didn't leak. The grill came in handy for cooking that night since the interior was still dry.
The site comes very well stocked with supplies. Beau was a great host, and we loved staying there so much we are talking about coming back again some time! I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves being in nature and needs to disconnect from the everyday.

Weekend Trip to Beaverdam Falls
Stayed during the rainy snow season (I know we’re crazy lol) so the communal space didn’t have any hot water or propane for the stove. But we were SO taken care of. The manager Leah let us to another site to shower and cook and brought us another stove to cook with. Beautiful property and will definitely be coming back in the summer! Even in super cold winter weather we had a blast and loved every second!!
