A short drive to wineries, hiking, and Julian, a quaint town in eastern San Diego county famous for homemade pies, you'll also find plenty of off road vehicle trails nearby, and the town of Temecula is just only 30 minutes away. Bring your Camper Van, Overland vehicle or tent and camp off-grid on our secluded 20 acre property away from the sounds of the city. Enjoy the night sky full of stars, beautiful views, mild year round weather and no mosquitoes. Campo Buena Vista features expansive, breathtaking views in every direction and only the sounds of birds and breezes. Hike along our private 3/4 mile walking trail or explore the endless hiking and biking trails just off the property or a short drive away. Nestled in the hills at 3000 ft elevation in South Riverside County, an abundance of cacti, spectacular huge boulders and low shrubs fill our terrain, while the always green Palomar Mountain range frames our entire western view. Because there is no wifi at Campo Buena Vista, you can completely disconnect, never leave camp and experience complete quiet and privacy. If you feel like socializing, we recommend visiting the intimate, local wineries, brewery or bar/restaurant just down the road, 10-15 minutes away. A bit further drive, all of the conveniences of Temecula are only 35 minutes away as well as the famous Temecula Wine Country. If some gambling action piques your interest, Cahuilla Casino is 25 minutes away. And if you ride motocross/dirt bikes, the world-famous Cahuilla Creek Motocross Track is 25 minutes and Pala Raceway is 50 minutes. Book your stay at Campo Buenos Vista and disconnect to reconnect to nature, stillness and yourself. Note: The owners live on the property some of the year so they may or may not be around but are always available via messaging. There is no wifi at the campsite but you can usually get a few bars of cell service from the highest points.

Fantastic view of the valley and Palomar Mountain from the campsite. I would recommend boots and pants for walking around. Great amount of space for two tents and a truck. Sunsets were beautiful to watch and cast great shadows and colors across the mountain range.
