Hello! We are family farm mainly focused on Nigerian Dwarf and Mini-Nubian goats, Kunekune pigs, and silkie chickens! We also have a couple cows, peacocks, alpaca, ducks, quail, pigeons, sheep, mini equine, and rabbits. We can offer as much or as little farm experience as you’d like! Please read entire description and most importantly, there are no toilet facilities, so please pack it out, dig a hole or bring your own head if you're not self-contained. No presents for me or other campers, thank you. 45-acre Historic farm, several sites to choose from depending on adventure wanderlust (including a 4WD drive site). Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills. For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit. Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper. Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.

We arrived later in the evening than we had initially planned due to heavy traffic and construction on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. We had a great two-night stay in our 13 foot travel trailer here. We were at site #1 and chose the spot furthest back and it was perfect for us. I’m not an expert with the trailer but was able to position on a flat spot at Randy’s recommendation that gave us a nice view of the cornfields. It was very peaceful, we put the fire pits to use, and had a wonderful stay. It’s pretty local for us and we definitely would stay again.

Alex's site is just as described. It is primitive camping and don't expect to drive to the site unless you have a solid offload 4 wheel drive. It is steep! However, it is not a long walk from a good car parking site. This is likely the only camp site I could find in NOVA. Alex was quick to respond and precise in directions.

Steep hill leading further back, only attempt with a true 4x4.

Weekend Trip to Rustic Camp Privacy

Alex’s land was exactly what I was looking for, quiet, private, and rustic. Having the whole property to ourselves made it feel like true backwoods camping but still close to local parks and spots like Potomac Point Vineyard. Alex was responsive and helpful, but also gave us space to enjoy the land on our own terms. There’s plenty of firewood and flat spots for tents, plus wildlife everywhere which made it feel alive and natural. One note for future campers: the hill leading further back on the property is steep and best left to true 4x4 vehicles. If you’re in a standard car or SUV, stick to the gravel parking area up front, it works perfectly. This is definitely a primitive spot (no bathrooms, water, or amenities), so come prepared, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re looking for privacy, campfires, and a genuine outdoor experience, this place is perfect.

Randy is ace—very responsive and on top of things. The 4x4 site was not fancy, but it is perfect if all you are looking for is a mowed spot in the woods with a fire ring (perfect for my needs). The road to get to the spot is not as tight as it looks, just use common sense and take it easy. All in all, perfect.
